Crabtree & Evelyn. They didn't realize their loyal market were older women (30+) and decided to go after the trendy Zoomers instead. The lost their core market and never attracted enough Zoomers.

I think the biggest example of clueless MBA executive meddling is JC Penney. As you mentioned with Crabtree...they went after a customer that wouldn't be caught dead in a JC Penney store. Meanwhile alienating a couple million loyal customers. Complete stupidity and they've spent years trying to climb out of that hole.
