Karl-G
The NYT has an interesting article on queer literature today. The 25 Most Influential Works of Postwar Queer Literature - The New York Times WWW.NYTIMES.COM Six opinionated writers debate — and define — the state of L.G.B.T.Q. writing in order to make a list of the most... The NYT is also loaded with other great articles today - travel (Paris and Saudi Arabia and Japanese pilgrimage), food (Singapore), abortion, and more. Rod Hagen
Bookmarked this article a few days ago. I look forward to reading it and disagreeing with most of it :-) pubic_assistance
LAFreedom
Thanks so much for this. I've spent the last few years reading every gay novel and autobiography I can.

+ Charlie
I just finished reading the article, and was surprised (and enlightened) to realize how little "queer" literature I have read, especially in recent years, when I seem to have lost interest in fiction and poetry of any kind. The article made me only mildly curious about most of the works the panel discussed. I am even older and more irrelevant than I realized. + WilliamM, Rod Hagen and + Lucky 2
Rod Hagen
Oh wow! Even though I read the article in June, I just revisited this thread, took another look at the article, and realized that The Story of Harold is on it. I thought Edmund White and I were the only people alive who know about this book. And I see that my Hardcover is now worth half a month's rent!
