Rentmen good or bad?

My rentmen subscription is up for renewal. In order to process payment for premire status they are requiring the user to upload an ID.

What gives? I can't imagine users are doing this.

I've hired twice from rentment. Both great experiences. Still favor spa massages.

Since the pandemic began (within the last year or so) I have met 3 new providers from rentmen and one from its sister site rentmasseur. All have been successful. Two have become regulars. Well one was a regular until he decided to go on a hiatus.

In any case, it’s been a good source me even during the pandemic.

If you are the big guy in town (rentmen overshadows all other similar type advertising platforms) you set the rules such as asking for I D and other nonsense items.

If you are creative, you can figure out how to get around this silly new "requirement"

Use the same credit card and tell them that you have made payments before and had no plan to provide that info.  That is what I have done in the past. And they waived it.

I have no complaints about RM. I have secured all my dates from them in the last 5 years and they number in the dozens. Most good to excellent. But I am a discriminating hirer. And quite a few I have seen several times if not more.

Also no hassles on the payment side and still paying $9.99 for the premium.

the ID thing is straight up bizarre. i paid last month and it's been nagging me ever since to upload the documentation, but i've just been ignoring it. the payment went through, and the Premium/sponsor status has stayed valid... they got their money, so apparently its not a hard requirement.

Take a picture of your ID and using photoshop change a few things: name, birthday, address, etc. Is very easy to do.

I know escort who got their ID "verified" by RM using the same method, one can't even remember what age he gave them.... and he's not savy when it come to IT. Any idiot can do it.

They only care that your payment goes through but I understand the concerns about privacy and whether they'll sell your information, be hacked, etc.

Still the best site to hire from except the site does manipulate reviews. That's why this site is so valuable. There are way too many 5 Star reviews on guys who are very mediocre. Plus still alot of new guys on RM trying to get you / con you to Zelle funds in advance and disappear.
