Hooking up in a bathhouse

I want to hook up with an escort in-call but the escort does only out-calls. Day-hotels are expensive (when you chip in the escort fee too). So a compromise would be to meet at a bathhouse where it could be cheap. I only been to bathhouses in Toronto where you can get a very small room/booth with a small bed. Very serviceable and private. I now live in New York City. Is this a feasible option in NYC to hook up with an escort?

 

I can't do out-calls because I have two roommates and I have no privacy.

 

I have never been to any of the bathhouses in NYC. So any recommendations for NYC would be welcome.

Well, you just need a space.

Rooms at the East or West Side Clubs are quite small but two people can have fun there. yes, sheets are very thin but you don't have to spend a night sleeping.

 

Just think that you have to buy a membership (even a temporary one for 10 $) per person and the cost between the two of you, one room and one locker would be around 55-60 bucks I guess.

So, perhaps a hotel by the hours would be better....

Not strange at all. We're talking about hotels that rent their rooms by the hour. Cash is probably preferable since there is no credit card trail (who knows who may be snooping) and it's not very much in any case. I can't imagine walking around New York without at least a couple of hundred in my pocket since it ain't exactly a cheap place. }(

I'll second the St. Marks Hotel. I used to frequently rent rooms there by the hour with clients when I lived in NYC. It's nothing fancy, but it gives you the things you really need for a session...bed, shower, towels.

NY is a tough town for bargain hotel rooms. I know that here in SF, you can get a decent place for a quickie on Priceline for $35 quite often. I'd guess it would be more in Manhattan!

Funny how this thread started as a question about meeting clients at a bathhouse... The St. Marks property that is shown on the website is the location of the old St. Mark's Baths. Though the photos look MUCH better than the old baths used to. Course I was always partial to catching the sunrise over the East village from their roofdeck area. Then it was off to breakfast at DoJo.

 

As to hooking up at a bathhouse... I've considered it too. Yes, the rooms are tawdry and the beds/linens aren't really fit for sleeping but there is usually the advantage of a steamroom and a jacuzzi. It's crossed my mind before that being envied for my companion while I sit and soak between rounds wouldn't be too terrible.

Don't know about St Marks, but the Hotel Senton,

39 West 27th St (between 6th & B'way) charges

$60 for three hours (minimum amount of time

to rent a room) Not exactly the Waldorf, but

is okay for fucking }( around for a few hours.

Another thing you might consider, Greg, is asking other escorts if they would "rent" their space for an hour or two. I've done that for escorting friends who needed space before...

It has been a few years that I don't go to East Side Club, and I remember last time they were closed.

 

So, my statement is good ONLY for West Side Club, whose saunas and steam room have indeed been closed for a long time now.

Take care3 with bth house setting. Don't go there in any part of the world or country, (Global reputation and travel to all corners of teh world)... spend the extra 40$ and git a hotel... Kewl if you are into the group bath scene... Not the healthy environment though. I s'pose people will frown on me for this. I consider your safety though... Amen, Bath houses are not my sceane...first I cant wear my glasses so I cant see a damn thing and have to walk with my hands out sometimes to kinda get a direction of were in the workd I am actully going. Secound I went and thought Athlets foot...Grose and Third I actully went with a client in Austin once and thought it could be hot but I was so nervious or shy or scared one of the three that I had to ask him if we could do it at his place.
