multiple ads deceptive

On the Men4rentnow site for Dallas, I have encountered

at least 3 escorts who have more than one ad. In fact, one

of them has 3 on Men4rentnow and one on Rentboy. All of

them under different names, different pictures - which are

are sometimes "borrowed," obviously. I find this deceptive.

I questioned one of the guys about it and he even agreed,

but said the goal is to attract different types of clients.

I have found it awkward to contact a "new" escort and

then learn it was someone I had already spent time with

previously. Is this a common practice? Do you find it

deceptive?

I think I know the ads you are refering to in the Dallas listings and in fact I've seen the guy once; if it's the one I'm thinking of , his ads all read about the same, even though he uses different names and pics, in fact I believe he has a couple different phone numbers he uses.

 

Since the ads all say about the same thing, I don't understand the statergy of appealing to different types of clients.

 

I've noticed a couple of guys that drop their ads for a month or so then come back with completely new ads, using a new name, new pics and re-wording of the ad.

 

Deceptive? I don't know, but certainly confusing at times.

Well I know several escorts that post multiple ads on Men4rentnow, also using all fake internet pictures. The ads are normally headless, the concept an reason they tell me they do multiple ads to get more clients. I told them some clients respond to several ads because some people dont respond in time when they are looking to hook up. I feel the whole thing is deceptive. In Atlanta there tons of fake ads on men4rentnow, the funny part is they use these pictures of thes computer enhanced large cocks which have been on the internet for years. But clients still fall for it in belief that is the escorts pictures.

 

Good rule of thumb is go with what you know is real, not suspect. However some client go through it in hopes they are going to meet this new exciting escort that nobody knows about yet. So its a gamble if you want to take a chance.

 

The odds of running into fake ad on Men4rentnow are more probable because it only cost $40 to place an ad. as for rentboy is more expensive eventhough they are fake ads on rentboy too, but not as many multiple ads by the same escort.

I try to combo the sites available. I'll go to M4Rent and Rentboy and then use search option on HooBoy to see if there is more than one review. Or take a HooBoy review and go the other way on the other two sites. The info Ricardo has shared along with a previous post regarding operation of M4Rent has proved very helpful to me in what to look for to make reasonably sure the escort is who is displayed is the one I am contacting.

 

I have done a couple of rentboy with no review and had it worked, both also were on Men4Rent. But the one I tried off of men4rent without a review or corresponding rentboy ad was a bust. Generally I stick with those that have a review to go along with rentboy/men4rent.

Now I don't advertise on the men4rentnow website, but there are a couple of sites where I do run multiple ads on, and the reason I do is because I live in Wichita Kansas my name and pics always stay the same and the pics are of me, so when I do run multiple ads on a website they are in different cities & states because I'm pretty central to MO. and OK. Speaking of Ok. I'd be willing to meet you half way :-)

I believe the multiple ads, are not you running ads in different locations. Its running different ads with a different NAME, totally different pictures, different phone number. Just being totally deceptive. I just ran into that issue in Los Angeles again with Angle Lopez770891 (that was his name when hired him when I was working in Atlanta)**** alias Julio 78767****,Juarez, Rico.

I answer the ad of Julio in LA through email an called left message, I sent few emails to 3 more latin escorts.I recieved 2 replies back from different email address with reply to call me at 797876****. I called the number not realizing I just left message at that same number. It has no voice on the message just automated recording. This time he answers phone, I make the appointment. When he opens the door, there stood Angle Lopez, the even more pudgy latin escort hired in Atlanta. He said "hi, I seen you before" and I said "yes , I seen you also, and your using different name now and FAKE PICTURES, that's not cool man.I going to leave now, I don't like deception".

 

So I learn if an ad has only 2 or 3 pictures with no phone number listed, escort has no reviews. I am taking a big chance that its not even them in the pictures, its a deceptive ad all together.

Running multiple ads with different names and come-ons has always been standard practice in print sources (just check the phone numbers on some of those print ads in Frontiers, for instance). Several years ago there was a discussion here about an escort in L.A. who runs two different ads on websites (with different pictures, but both current ones of him) and has been reviewed here several times (mostly positive reviews) under two different names. His published response to Hooboy was that he advertised to very different client interests (one muscle worship, one bd/sm), and that explanation seemed to be acceptable to Hooboy.

 

In the days before the Internet, I hired the same escort five times on both coasts over a period of years, because he always had a different print ad with a different name, and a different headless picture. And yes, it was awkward when he opened the door and I realized who it was, because I hadn't wanted to hire him again.
