I don't like negotiating with escorts.

 

I'm looking for a pleasant, uncomplicated interaction when I hire.

There's already enough dealing and haggling in day-to-day life;

for me, part of the value of hiring an escort is to have some

I acutally prefer the 'rate varies' now although in my earlier days of hiring I did not. Being uncertain as a newbie I didn't want to commit any faux pas so the more certain the info was the more comfortable I felt about making an approach.

 

With a number of years experience now I have no qualms about the interaction. One of my criteria is rate sensitivity. If a firm rate is posted and it is outside my bounds then I don't pursue. I won't ask an escort to negotiate his published short term rate. However, if there is no firm rate then I will contact and make known the parameters of the experience I am seeking including rate. The ball is in his court with the options: to decline, to accept or to counter.

Quite a few guys have gone from $220-25 to $250 an hour for absolutely the "same amount of Fun Time". Some of the older guys hoovering around 35 or older have jumped on the bandwagon also. Probably just because that is what the younger guys are asking! But there are many great new guys, who are available for $200 and alot Younger and definitely not jaded! I don't think there is alot more disposable income around now adays! I think it is just that alot of clients think with their DICKS and not their WALLETS! :+ :+ :+

Yes and No...

 

While I agree with you about some people thinking they are god's gift to gay men and can charge something obscene, that only applies to the people that post these psycho rates (i.e. $800 to get blown -- so I've heard but don't believe these guys as far as I can throw them -- and I'm good at shot put).

 

For people like me who say rate varies and in other situations, it kind of applies. I don't see anyone. I keep my rates high to get a better class of clientele and it has worked for me to date. I figure is as basic economics, supply and demand and what not. As long as I keep myself in demand, I get to keep the price where I want it

Why Ask Why?

 

The original clients concerns were answered well above. Now, this has evolved into a thread on how clients feels about "rate varies" or "ask" in escort advertisement and questions about why an escort might do this.

 

As I pointed out earlier, this discussion has been discussed.

 

A number of times.

 

Pricing, negotiating, escort prices, escort rates, rates; any number of these search terms will pull up any number of threads and posts on these topics, particularly escort rates/prices and negotiating, which have been discussed ad

 

However, a good point from one perspective is raised here. Some clients have submitted review for myself, for any number of other escorts, from Rick to Kristian to Rod to XYZ escort, some for one hour, some for two hours, some for multiple hours, some for evenings, some for overnight and some for a day and some for multiple days.

 

Some sites require that you put in a specific number, others allow you to put rate varies. This may also be a factor.

 

As some clients have already mentioned and as I have already suggested, if you are interested in an escort and there is no specific rate mentioned, the only "harm done" if you contact him via e-mail is that you might get no response or might want a very small amount of time.

If ya really want to see some crazy pricing by guys who are incredibly in demand, go to muscleservice.com. There are a couple/few guys that charge $500 an hour...some are relatively new to the scene but they are making their money, no doubt about it. There is another guy (Brad Hollibaugh) who has been around for awhile, and is/has been charging $500, and you can not give or receive a blowjob or touch the genital area (haha...I said genitals :-) ) Anyway, just goes to show ya that if you find your niche and are really in demand, people will pay what seems to us mortals, a shit load of money.

 

In these cases, my attitude is if the client has the money and wants to pay it, then go for it. But Holy Shit...that is a lot of fucken money for me...damn !!!! USA...USA !!!!

This should read: or might WASTE a very small amount of time. Other than this spectacular example of an atypical Franco malpropism, frankly Hot Dad, this particular post and the prior one make sense.

 

1. This client wanted to know why escorts might put "rate varies" and a further implied question was would it be worth his effort to pursue such an escort that appealed to him.

 

I and several clients answered this question.

 

2. You and several other clients raised some other issues, including why rates my vary, negotiating with escorts, the general discussion of escort rates, etc. and some escorts also chimed in on these topics.

 

I then responded that these have all been discussed before and even offered some search terms for anyone wishing to research the prior conversations.

 

Such a suggestion is not meant to imply anything more than some of these discussions have been held before and, often, a number of escorts and/or clients have given very good responses and thus, these individuals do not always answer the question again.

 

Finally, an escort raised a point that was not discussed, in my recollection, before on this thread or the other threads, so I elaborated on it.

 

Is that succint enough?
