is one site 'better' than the other? 

I mainly stick to rentmasseur when I look but lately, I can't seem to find anyone I want to try.

masseurfinder has a more professional look but I get the impression that the guys would prefer to show more; many of the guys look ...not sure of the word...reluctant? in their photos.

I think masseurfinder only allows clothed pics and u have to show yr face etc that being said i see lots Rm guys on both

You also have to be mindful about Masseurfinder as there are many providers who only offer Therapeutic Massage on there.  I find that it's not a sure bet and more up in the air and dependent on chemistry, atmosphere and what you discuss with the provider whereas RentMasseur you have a better idea of what you can expect....

Post rentboy prosecutions, masseurfinder has become extremely chaste. It's very difficult to gauge what the masseurs on that site are up for.  I usually cross reference both sites - one to confirm they're "real" masseurs (not upselling fakes) and the other to see how "thorough" the massage will be.

I use masseurfinder if I was am looking for more of a therapeutic massage (which many times I've been surprised), if I see them also on rent masseur I expect some sort of extras. I also double check and look at rent men to see if this is going to lead to more of an escort experience or erotic massage. At leases this way I can communicate with them what I am looking for and not offending a "true" therapist. BUT this doesn't always turn out that way. Once on masseur finder this guy insisted it was truly therapeutic, it started out that way. When I turned over he was nude, hard and ready to suck.  So you never know.

I'm right there on crossreferencing, it helps.

The last two massages I had I hired off MF, and I have to admit both were what I wanted in a massage in terms of extras, while the first was a mediocre (not bad) rubdown, the second guy gave a phenomenal massage. There's another provider I found on MF that I E-mailed and he gave me a lovely menu of options and prices that have me hopeful.

One thing I notice when I cross-reference here. The MF profile numbers are easiest to search. While not an absolute, I would guess the guys on MF with lower numbers are more likely to have been on MF back when it was a bit more akin to what RM currently is. There were private photos, ads were encouraged to be made more explicit as a friend of mine was told, and the reviews were much easier to post as a client.

I agree with you. For some reason RM has always been more about the extras for me in my experience
