What is a fair offer to an escort for a semi-permanent situation? For you guys that have done this for 6 months at a time--what is/was reasonable. I am not looking for the guy to give up other clients but looking to be a minimum floor. Let me know what types of arrangements are out there. Blu

It Depends

 

You are, in essence, offering a retainer agreement to an escort, a guarantee of a certain income in exchange for what, exactly?

 

You, therefore, need to consider what the market is like in your geographic area, what your expectations are, what you can afford, what your escort might like, and any other pertinent factors and then proceed accordingly.

 

I would bet some clients will also chime in with their own opinions, irrespective of whether or not they have any experience with such an arrangement, but I would first ask if you already have an existing relationship with the escort you have in mind and what compromises it. In other words, do you simply see him hourly or have you seen him for more extended periods. Have you started seeing him recently or is the relationship of longer duration. Finally, if you do have someone specific in mind, do you have any sense that he would actually be open to such an arrangement.

 

I, for example, would not be at this stage in my life, although when I was a twink, and not an escort, I was kept by someone.

If I'm not mistaken you've brought up this subject or a similar one before. The question is, why? If you're not looking for an exclusive arrangement then what is it you're paying for other than to have the escort make himself available to you when you want him -- which I presume an escort would be happy to do for a reliable repeat client without any special incentive.

 

Is it that you want the escort to be prepared to cancel any other appointment he has whenever you call? Again, if you're a reliable repeat client he might be willing to do that without any extra payment. If he does ask for an extra payment it ought to be a very modest one since if all he's doing is replacing one appointment with another he really isn't losing any money.

 

I guess the other alternative is that you're looking for a price freeze or volume discount -- you want a guarantee that for a certain period of months he'll see you for a certain agreed amount of money and no more. If I were going to make such an offer I'd base it on the same kind of percentage discount formula escorts use to calculate overnight and multiple-day rates, in which they take a certain percentage off their usual hourly rates to reflect the fact that they would not be able to do multiple appointments in a single night and so are earning more than they otherwise would even at that discounted rate.

 

The only problem to consider in paying an escort an advance or retainer is the problem of getting your money back in case the arrangement doesn't work out for some reason. How would you do that?

I was under 21, living in South Florida, going to the beach and drinking French champagne daily, with access to several homes and cars. Even under Marc Anthony's most stringent standards, I believed I qualified for Twink status at the time and, I certainly felt like a kept boy.

Franco, I am constantly amazed at your life experiences, as you relate them here. Given what you experienced as an under-21 youth, it is a wonder that you didn't end up as a wasted individual. Your exposure to such excesses at such a tender age would have ruined many a young boy placed in such a situation. This is a scan of a slide, so it is not the best quality, and I can no longer remember whether this was 1985 or 86, but either way, I was no longer being kept at this point, but I was no older than 22 in the photograph, taken in the Copa Fort Lauderdale.
