Are you ever asked to say 'I love you' to a client?

Just curious. Have any of you ever had a client who wanted you to hold him and say I love you to him? For sex not to be the entire focus of your appointment, but rather the nurturing feeling of being loved. I suppose this would fall into the fantasy genre, but I think at times the fantasy of hearing I love you repeatedly and being held might be more to the point. Sex isn't always what it's about. Just curious.

You Only Say You Love Me When I Am Drunk

Clients, as you pointed out, sometimes have specific and very romantic fantasies in mind: fireplaces, candles, etc., particularly the overnight clients.

Some of mine have requested that we not discuss other clients or that I am an escort during our time together. Some have also made or expressed terms of endearments during our time together or in e-mails and phone conversations (from a very affectionate looking foward to seeing you again to my baby and the like).

Those with whom I have some history are often very physical and affectionate with me outside the bedroom, including holding hands and other public displays.

However, none have specifically requested that four letter word.

Probably not a whole lot of clients with requests of “whispers of sweet nothings in the ear”. My curiosity would be on the opposite end. How many escorts get requests to have an escort show up at the door and punch the client in the face. And that would just be the greeting hello, as the client would want even more physical and verbal abuse. And if so, where is the line drawn. Would you shit/piss on him? Would you kick and punch the client while calling him every nasty abusive name under the sun, totally dominating him into submission. You know the type? It’s two weeks later and the bruises still haven’t cleared up, the stitches are still itching and the grooves of the soles of the escort’s shoes are still emblazoned on the client’s face in big red welts?

I've never been asked to say "I love you" to a client, but I have had a few clients over the years who've said it to me. One of my regular

clients says it to me quite often, usually in the heat of the moment. I make a point to never lead him on in any way and I usually respond with a 'thank you', that's 'sweet of you' or sometimes I don't say anything.

One client, a divorced grandfather in his 50's really had a hard time keeping things in the proper perspective. We had a long talk about it and decided it was best for him to stop seeing me.

Well these were certainly interesting replies, but I think my scenario was taken a bit too seriously. I was referring to this as an agreed upon fantasy. Just to step out of what is proper and expected of all our real life boundaries and hire a beautiful guy to just nurture you, hold you, and say I love you for an hour or two. Dropping all the everyday armor and facade of coolness and see what it feels like to accept the love sex is often mistaking for. Maybe this is just too nakedly honest to ever happen. Just thought it might be an interesting experience.

How Can You Expect To Be Taken Seriously

You asked a particular question. Most of us answered it specifically. However, I do not believe your question is about the phrase.

Speaking solely for myself, I believe there is a great deal of genuine affection, naturing, compassion, empathy and intimacy between myself and some of my clients. But not all clients want sensual intimacy. Some just want sweaty animal sex. Some want company. But those who do want sensual intimacy get that and then some.

I'm a big fan of fantasy-scenes, but I never would include such

a phrase as "I love you" in one of my scripts ... too unrealistic for my taste.

I know, fantasies are just fantasies and in a way there to cater to dreams, but ...

Have a pleasant day

I've never been asked to, point-blank...

After seeing someone on a regular basis for over a year, i think it's truly possible to love someone as a friend and meaningfully say it in emails, phonecalls & in-person. Using the term in a deeper, commited relationship-driven way is something that has never happened to me while escorting. Not yet at least.

Personally, if someone asked me to say 'i love you' and he was simply role-playing for the time we're spending together then i really wouldn't have an issue with it. That's what they're asking for. On the flipside, i've seen escorts use the term 'love' with guys to get them to buy material things they want or for simple control. Not cool. It's forced manipulation. In that instance, it's bullshit & transparent and something not agreed upon in a roleplay situation or otherwise.

Yeah, so this may sound a bit cliched, but love isn't something to take lightly. It's a powerful thing that's unfortunately thrown around nowadays with the mass of of a Calvin Klein runway model. Added, i think there's a real confusion between love and lust within the gay community in general...

But that's a whole 'nother chapter :)

Warmest,

Yes Benjamin, I was totally referring to a 'roleplaying' situation where an escort would give total love and affection for the hour. From all these replies I think maybe this was a touchy subject. It may be easier for some guys to take a fist up their ass then to say the words I love you. That wasn't aimed at anyone, I promise!

I remember acting exercises where we would just repeat I love you, or I hate you to eachother for 5 mins or more. It was very powerful to offer up the words and see what feelings they bring up in you. That is, if you weren't afraid to let yourself really dip into your real feelings. I was just taking it another step. Wondering if anyone every takes the opportunity of having this 'roleplaying' love and affection with an escort. Just for the session, to make that clear again. Perhaps this would come easier to an escort that is also and actor. You'd think an actor/escort wouldn't be that hard to find here in LA : )

I think perhaps all out, acrobatic sex comes much easier to many of us then sharing affection.

There's more than one kind of affection which can be shown. As Bottom put it, "lived, loved, liked, looked with cheer." And we're only talking about the warm, positive affections.

If you want theater games and the spiritual truths you can learn from them, I suggest that you look for a Sacred Intimate. That is one thing that they do, that they should be trained in.

As we've seen, this particular game is one which many, perhaps most, of the best Escorts shy away from. And with good reason.

I imagine that it would be even more out of bounds for an Erotic Masseur.

But all the good ones, SIs, Escorts, Masseurs (BodyWorkers), they all like you and are quite willing to share warm, positive affection with you. Of one sort or another.

I find that the most of the time, what a client needs is proximity, warm touch, feeling accepted and cared for. Very often clients ask just to be held in my strong arms for a while... to feel protected I guess. Sex is just a flavour of how that proximity is going to look like, and of course, sex is often the main focus of the meeting. But I think feeling loved and being pampered is one of the most frequent needs that we gladly help fulfilling in this profession.:-)

I can totally relate to this situation, where a client tell you they love you, and are waiting for you, or hoping for you to return the sentiment, and i suppose for a real pro this would be great because the opportunity finnally arises to then play thier client, I concider myself a genuine person who usually finds these situations rather difficult

Rick, do you lip synch just one song or have you had a medley remixed together for your own personal use? (My personnal favorite is "There's no Business Like Show Business)

Also, do you wear the stunning mumu/kaftan like outfit that she sports on the cover?
