For escorts that travel - how far in advance should you post a message to the Escort Travel section when you have advance notice of the trip? Let's say you have more than one month notice for an upcoming trip. I personally think one month is too much advance notice but I may be wrong. I usually shoot for one week to ten days. By posting early, it's nice to get your schedule somewhat situated. But the downside is that most clients probably do not want to book something far in advance and may not give the posting a lot of consideration? Or is it best to wait 1-2 days before you arrive?

In Advance

Personally, I have found that two to four weeks notice is not too great. Once I book the airfare and commit to the purchase of a hotel room and/or advertising, I tend to go ahead and announce the trip. You are correct in one respect, Bobby; some clients do not wish to book that far in advance, however if it is a city you do not travel to frequently, it does provide good notice to clients who may travel or live there that you will finally be available. For example, you have frequently traveled to Chicago, so an interested client may just write you and ask when will you be in Chicago again. You may not have been in Los Angeles or say San Francisco previously, so a trip there may be appropriate to provide more notice.

You can also, as many escorts do, "bump" your post upwards. Lucky escorts always get others to do it for them, but if push comes to shove, you can always do it yourself.

RE: In Advance

I'm probably in the minority, but I find my work schedule fills up about a month in advance. So if I only have 2 weeks notice it can sometimes be difficult to work someone in. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. If I can put it on my calendar I can usually work around it.
