In 11 years of escorting, I've never worked on Christmas Day. I can't even remember ever getting any calls on that day. Holidays are usually the most dead. I'm usually quite busy though Thanksgiving up until Christmas Eve, especially with the married clients.

I think in very large urban areas, particularly where all the cultures may not celebrate the holidays others assume are universal, the potential is there. I returned from 3 days and 2 nights in Las Vegas with a client the night before Thanksgiving very tired and slept through most of that day, cancelling what few plans I had, even the gym. However, had I been willing to work, I could have probably seen four clients that day.

 

Last Christmas Eve and Christmas day I spent with my then boyfriend (also an escort and adult film performer) and two friends from Atlanta. We took the days off.

 

However, I suspect we could have have found work if we so desired it. I have not yet finalized any plans either way for this year.

Last Xmas I was on a sex vacation 'cause I was too pooped to work (I didn't get as many overnights and evening appts. in those days, so a busy month meant lots of one-hour sessions -- whew!).
