I have shaved, trimmed, naired and waxed my body. I am now back to full fuzzy look. I only clip slightly so that I dont have unruly chest and pubic hair.

 

These days...if a guy wants a smoothie...I tell him to look elsewhere. If he gets into the shaving scene...I tell him that he has to pay 4 weeks salary..cuz thats how long it takes to grow back...and most of my clients LOVE Hairy guys.

 

I actually like both...but shavin/trimmin...is high maintenance when you have as much hair as I do. I don't have the time or patience anymore.

I used to shave myself, right before a swim meet, and everything would go, except the forearms. But it's been about 3-4 years since I have done the gay swim meet circuit.

 

However, I do have one of my regulars, and perhaps a guy who I've known the longest, love to shave me. Since I am not a fan of body hair on myself, I don't mind it at all. About the biggest disappoint I cause to clients is that I prefer my face clean shaven. I also trim my chest hair simply because there is a great deal of it. If you look at shots of my hair on my legs and realize that my hair is that thick and dense everywhere it goes, you would appreciate if you had to sleep with me naked, that a light trim on me is very appropriate.

 

Los Angeles is certainly the forearm shaving capital of the planet, I had not really noticed this is San Francisco, especially on the escorts there, though this was often a look (see Tom Katt and Tom Chase both) that adult film actors had to undertake. Atlanta was also another city I spent many years in and never noticed it, but Talvin Demacio (sp?) and Tony Cummings were the only escorts in that city I was then aware of and both are, I believe, naturally smooth (I never met either though Talvin did belong to the same gym I did).

 

I think to the extent clients want smooth hair and that smoothness is equated with youth, that this look will persist with escort. It has not hurt my business that I am not smooth, but then it probably brings me a niche, especially in Los Angeles, very few other escorts can fill.

I shave my chest but pretty much leave everything else au natural. This seems to strike a pretty good balance, because for guys who like smooth, often the main thing they care about is the chest -- in other words they can overlook the hairy legs, forearms, etc. -- whereas guys who are into hair don't seem to be too particular about where on the body they find it. (Of course, my sample is skewed: the ones who specifically want someone hairy-chested generally aren't going to respond to my pix in the first place.)

Different strokes for differernt folks!

 

Personally I find him very sexy and not the least bit feminine.

Buzzing, shaving, waxing, etc, is high maintenance and over time, the hair grows longer as a result. But I still like to feel buff. I also like the look and feel as the hair grows in up to a quarter inch or so. Its just a personal preference of mine.

 

I do however like both smooth and hairy lovers. Some stomach and chest hair patterns are unique especially when they grow short to medium length and close to the skin. Darn Hot if ya ask me!

I buzz it all but shave the balls, crotch and meat - but above it, its only trimmed. Its very time consuming especially since I get horned and well,....

 

Sometimes I prefer to break the buzz job up over 2 days ( nite and following morning).

 

In the past few years, I went through 2 different brands of electric hair clippers that were both barely satisfactory. The last was a Conair which I purchased because it could be used cordless. (I would not reccomend it!)

 

I won't Nair it anymore because it doesnt get it all, takes alot of time and it makes a complete mess. I recently noticed there's "Nair for Men" but wont try it fearing its the same old junk but smells differently.

 

When I shave, I risk the chance of a painful ingrown hair, I go through too many razor blades and dont like the cuts although few in number. The hair generally grows in stubby, thicker and itches soon thereafter so I prefer to buzz it as close as possible.

 

Ive seen other products like EpilStop where you rub it on and rip it off! Ouch! I havent had the nuts to try it.

 

I have not yet been waxed but it would take alot of time and it would cost me mucho bucks to wax both front and back frequently ( Im very hairy and it grows fast ) and I'd still be buzzing the legs, butt and arms anyway.

 

What are some of the best products and techniques some of you have ?

Any particular electric clippers, electric razors, or lotions that work great ?

Don't use EpilStop N Foam Sport. I received a pretty nasty burn after just 3 minutes. However, the moisturizing spray that came in the kit smells and feels very good.
