Just finished watching it.   As best I can tell, one moving song, two somewhat okay songs and a less than compelling story.  I did enjoy some of it.

Certainly the movie was disappointing. Many criticized the casting of Ben Platt as a high schooler. Though he created the role on Broadway, many think he’s far too old to be believable in the film. It did not perform well at the box office. The Broadway production was extremely successful, though, with Ben Platt winning the best actor in a musical Tony and the musical itself winning the best musical Tony award for 2016!

I'd heard some criticism.  Not sure how it did at the theaters.

I found the 1st half really good.   Amy Adams and Julianne Moore were good.
