CDC Advises Skipping Thailand, New Zealand, Hong Kong

Rising COVID cases have the CDC advising travelers not to go to the above countries. In the article cited below, Thailnad had 19000 new cases, but that has quickly risen to 22000 a day now.

I'm assuming this is Omicron that is spreading so quickly - is there any indication that a new variant might have emerged as well, from what you have read?

No indication that I have read.

Yeah we're reaching the end of April and Omicron is still kinda raging. WFH is still normal.

I’m in Bangkok now.   The mask mandate is going to end mid June.  Tourist have been returning, things picking up weekly.  Entertainment venues should be opening next week.

That is such a 5-star hotel wanna be
