I urge you to pay careful attention the "New Condom" thread. One of the exciting things about the Reality condom is that it is made of polyurethane and not latex; therefore the conservation issues should not be as severe. Many of Eva Hesse's sculptures from the 60s were made with latex; they have since deteriorated to the point that panels meet to debate the ethics of attempting to reconstruct them. (Needless to say I hereby volunteer to attend any future symposia devoted to the restoration of your signally important scrap book.)

The same thing is happening to Hockney's polaroid works from the 80s; and needless to say, when I heard of it, my knees buckled with thoughts of the same fate befalling my bound works of condoms and cum.
