Do you prefer a pic of a client or not?

DevonSF has stated his opinion of getting pics via e-mail...he is against it.

 

I was wondering if other escorts would log in on this issue...do you guys prefer to know what a potential client looks like or do you like to be surprised?

 

I never considered an escort would prefer NOT to have a pic of a client...I guess I should ask from now on before just sending it...

I've never asked for a pic from a client. Escorts have to give a good deal of personal information initially, from pictures, interests, and descriptions to incall directions. I don't feel it's necessary, but whenever pics are offered I consider it a gesture of reciprocal trust and accept. I'm an easy going guy, so making others comfortable is a good feeling for me. Having a client care about my comfort level is refreshing and welcome.

I prefer going in blind. 90% of the time I exchange a few phone calls and that helps me form a mental image and maybe glean a few physical stats. If I get a picture before the date and see that its a person I otherwise would not be attracted to then there's kinndah a countdown to "oh its him at 7:00". going in blind, I'm revved up and charged for who/whatever (ehhe) opens the door.

I've asked potential clients to tell me about themselves & send a pic if they have one..its not necessary but I've found guys who will send one tend to me a lil more serious about an appointment rather than the majority of "minimum info guys" who are usually just out to collect pix.

I like to have a general idea of knowing beforehand who is coming at me.

 

If just asking for a pic causes total chaos & completely pisses the guy off, then maybe that might be a client I need to pass on.

I of course never ask for a pic but I do prefer it if the client sends. In my case, I usually meet my clients down in the lobby of their hotel and I find it less awckward if I am not standing there wondering which guy it could be. If I don't get a pic that's fine as well...

I prefer to meet clients in their room, rather than hanging around a hotel lobby looking like a hooker. I just find it more discreet. Especially, if you frequent certain hotels more than others. The bellboys and front desk people start to recognize you. ;-)

Jeff, I doubt that Mike even gets noticed standing in the lobby of a LV hotel. There are genreally hundreds of people around :-) Then there are people like me who look for people like Mike, I would notice A side note to this is in LV it is nearly impossible to get up to the rooms if you don't show a key card. The better hotels have security everywhere. Even the less expensive usually cover the elevators as well.

True, tmbg. Columbus,OH isn't exactly Las Vegas. I live downtown and I am within a couple to several blocks of several major hotels. The Hyatt on Capitol Square, The Hyatt Convention Center, Adam's Mark,

Crowne Plaza Hotel, The Westin Great Southern, Courtyard by Marriot, The Lofts Hotel and Doubletree Guest Suites(just in case anyone is planning on coming to Columbus and wants some ideas as to where to stay).;-) There was a gay bowling tournament in town last year and I was at the host hotel 3 times in 2 days. One client was right down the hall from the other. That was kind of funny.

 

I guess I just like to meet someone in their room first. Then, if they would like to go down to the bar that's cool. I've had some not so good experiences meeting clients for the first time in the bar or lobby of a hotel. I think it can give a client an out at the last second and I hate to have my time wasted. After a while in this business, you start to do whatever you can to eliminate as much of the bullshit as possible.

I have quite a few key cards to some of the hotels but not all clients care to meet straight on in the room. I understand what jeff is saying about them backing out at the last minute, but it's actually never happened to me. Maybe I'm lucky or just happen to advertise truthfully. I have spoken to clients and many have nightmare stories where the escort looked nothing like their pic, but at the point of meeting the escort, they felt trapped in the room and just went ahead with the meeting anyway. The only other reason that I can think of for a client to back out would be nerves..Still it hasn't happened to me yet. Like I said, I guess I'm lucky ;-)~

You're right of course, Mike - I'm sure many guys don't want to meet in their rooms. Several years ago the escort I met had a key-card but asked me anyway where I wanted to meet him. Well, I also don't misrepresent myself to clients. I've gone to addresses that didn't exist and gone to hotels where there was no one matching the description of the client at the designated meeting place. Fortunately, that's only happened a handful of times. Most of the hotel clients that I've seen prefer to meet in their room. Quite often they are businessmen here for a convention with co-workers and prefer some discretion. Actually, I like incall the best. I'm lazy, so I don't even have to get dressed if they come to my place.;-)

 

Recently I have been having dreams(or are they nightmares?)about Rick

My how we've strayed from the original topic! As long as we're chatting about hotels, thought i'd mention that I live 4 blocks from 2 major hotels and even mention my location in ads in local papers, but have never been called to either one of them!

 

As for hotels 20, 30, even 50 miles away, those i get calls from all the time! Go figure!
