smgsfbay Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 (edited) Hi all, I recently moved to Los Angeles and I’m looking for spa recommendations, preferably one that caters to gay men and has handsome masseurs with extras/HE. Anyone with recent experience? Edited December 26, 2021 by smgsfbay Norcalbidad 1
+ GD85 Posted June 26, 2022 Posted June 26, 2022 I’m not sure why there were no responses here. There are a number of old threads and some threads specific to one spa or masseur, but nothing very recent on the overall LA spa scene and the LA threads don’t tend to stay very active. I was going to post a new thread but figured I would revive this one instead (if I am missing something, please let me know). I think there is a lot to be experienced right now in the LA spa scene. ☺️ I don’t want to speak specifically to anything like extras in a forum like this, but I will say I have had consistently fantastic massage experiences in LA spas. Some of the best experiences have been at spas like these: The Sense Massage and Wellness Center (WeHo) Sparadise Massage and Wellness (WeHo) Sparadise La Brea Candle Spa (Studio City) YoLo Foot Spa (Glendale) I have had mediocre (but somewhat eventful) experiences at spas like these: Prince Mens Spa Silver Lake Wellness Spa Ananda Spa Wilshire Foot Spa There are still a number of spas I would eventually like to try, among them The Rhyme Massage and Wellness Center (new and discussed in another thread) and Totally Smooth Skin. I will give a big RIP to Blue Moon Thai Spa (now Silver Lake Wellness) and Samaran Massage TT (North Hills) where I had some great experiences in the past. Anyone else care to share updated thoughts on the LA spa scene? I think it is having a bit of post-COVID resurgence. Exploritor, wallnut, btsk and 1 other 3 1
Guest Posted June 26, 2022 Posted June 26, 2022 I’ve only been to Totally Smooth Skin and recommend. Mike is great.
Rod Hagen Posted June 27, 2022 Posted June 27, 2022 I used to go to The Raven spa in Silverlake a few times every year. If Nikom and/or Chai are still working there, they are both absolutely fantastic Thai Thai-Masseurs. NO EXTRAS at The Raven, this is a perfect non-erotic Thai Massage https://theravenspa.com/ + GD85 1

Well-said. Frankly, I think it's bad form to even ask that question on a public forum without adding "send details only via PM please." Edited June 27, 2022 by Rod Hagen + GD85 and la_connor 2
+ GD85 Posted March 15, 2024 Posted March 15, 2024 Reviving this thread. I’ve spent too much time in NYC recently as well as traveling internationally. Obviously folks are enjoying Thai Wellness Spa lately… any other happenings around WeHo? I plan to makes a stop at Sparadise WeHo and probably The Sense over the weekend.

Chillguyweho Posted March 15, 2024 Posted March 15, 2024 I can across Mike on soothe as well but here is is now only therapeutic Would love to find some more spas in la that are legit but have that “will they, won’t they” fun of never knowing if something is going to happen. + GD85, Exploritor, Norcalbidad and 1 other 1 3
jeezifonly Posted March 15, 2024 Posted March 15, 2024 I used to enjoy the suspense. Now I have enough money to buy a really good massage from either local business (Burke Williams always delivers excellent bodywork) or a listed provider. If I know I went erotic play, I’ll book a good masseur who also escorts, and arrive prepared to pay for the latter. The one advantage of being a little older and more solvent when it’s unlikely I would get hookup interest at a bar or on the apps… Rod Hagen, Johnrom and BuzzLiteQueer 3
Chillguyweho Posted March 15, 2024 Posted March 15, 2024 I’ve actually had some luck at the Burke Williams in hollywood and Sherman oaks with a few of the masseurs. jeezifonly and Rotorooter 2
Tactile Daddy Posted March 15, 2024 Posted March 15, 2024 (edited) There's a little known Spa ♨ located in North Hollywood, called Laurel Health Spa. Corner of Laurel Canyon and Oxnard. David offers a very good massage and is amenable to extras if you tip... Just throwing it out there... Not like Thai Wellness... But he's got some good skills Edited March 16, 2024 by Tactile Daddy Caguy7 and + GD85 1 1

But he's got some good skills I think i’ve been here. Is he an older gentleman in his 50s or 60s? Do you know if there Are there other Therapists as well? Thanks!

timj Posted March 24, 2024 Posted March 24, 2024 I’d love to know about century. Anyone been for a massage? Please DM me
GetoGojo39 Posted May 20, 2024 Posted May 20, 2024 I'm also interested to learn about Century Day & Night Spa if anyone has experience. Thanks.
GTC404 Posted January 27 Posted January 27 New year, new action? Seeing if there are any spas out there that you guys are enjoying. Obviously TWS is popular. Any other hidden gems? Sharing is caring… 😁 Michaell, kesgarion and + GD85 2 1
kesgarion Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Anyone know of any good spots in the SGV area? Please DM me. I'm amazed that posts for the LA area are so sparse. Big thanks to gdgd85, but I'd like to know if there's some up-to-date info. I've been to Century a few times. It's got a golf driving range on the outside, a smoking area directly above it on the second floor, and the main spa area is on the first floor downstairs. Lockers use magnetic keys strapped to your wrists. It's a korean spa, so you are required to be nude in the spa area. The main spa area has lounging chairs in the center, with the two steam saunas directly on one side, and directly facing opposite, open showers. In the center, directly in front of the lounge area, there's a cold sauna and a dry sauna as well. The main hot tubs are on a tier directly above and behind the lounging chairs. To put it in perspective, if you're up in the tubs, you can essentially see the entire area. Massages with scrubs are offered as well in a corner behind the showers. If you need to cool off, there's a door near the showers leading to a small seated area outside. One steam room is particularly steamy, you'll know as soon as you see it, as it's usually somewhat crowded. It's so steamy that it's kind of difficult to see anything inside of it, but the steam room next to it is much more mild if you can't handle the heat. Outside of the main spa area are two more dry spas down the hallway. On the second floor is the clothing-mandatory mixed gender area, and has a small restaurant with food and drinks, along with a couple of lovely dry spas of varying temperatures, including a cold one. The main area has mats on the floor to rest on, and in the back, a sleeping room for men and a sleeping room for women. Norcalbidad, + GD85, boafriend and 1 other 1 2 1
Norcalbidad Posted February 10 Posted February 10 Excellent description, @kesgarion! I appreciate how well you laid out the actual building and spa details. IMO, Century seems to balance the sometimes conflicting options of bathhouse eye candy and rare (discreet) physical interactions with a clean, well lit, relaxing environment. I highly recommend it. + J. S. and kesgarion 2
+ GD85 Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Glad this thread got revived but sorry I was slow to catch it. Quite a bit of discussion about Thai Wellness on this forum, but aside from that I have really been enjoying Sparadise WeHo. Ice there is my favorite. 😌 Feel free to DM if you have questions. There is a separate thread about Candle Spa in studio city and I’m interested to try some of the new peeps there, Andy (who I guess is no longer there) has long since been one of my favs. kesgarion 1

There are obviously many Chinese massage places but I don't think any really cater to what we're looking for (muscular, good-looking men with good hands). borgerback 1
borgerback Posted April 25 Posted April 25 I'm very partial to WiSpa, but NOT for any 'action', just for the actual relaxing spa experience with the occasional nice view. HATE IT when anyone tries to do more at this obviously family-friendly spot. la_connor, + J. S. and Pd1_jap 1 2

Activities that are acceptable (and fun) at Century would be abhorrent at WiSpa. It's normal to see children in the wet area. As a father myself, the image of guys cruising back there makes me so angry I can barely type. Pd1_jap and borgerback 1 1

Even without families, many people just there for non-cruising purposes should never have to deal with harassment. That said, the times that I had gone, I saw no indication of overt cruising. Century and Palace definitely had more of that vibe than WiSpa. + J. S., Exploritor and borgerback 3
