tom isern will be more effectve at addressing the fraud issue that i can be....but the 'evidence' regarding ricks other behaviors is in front of you in his posts.....you recently wrote of your upset at a client trying to use this board to address hostility toward an escort...does the same concern apply when an escort does this to a client?...do sentences such as those written my rick in his 'defense'/ attack not speak for themselves?

Is he asking if multiple IDs are allowed? The answer is yes. I have a non-admin id so I can see the board without admin shortcuts when someone has a support question. (And when I'm taking a "vacation".)

 

Escorts (and others) have always been allowed to have multiple ids as long as they don't misbehave.

 

When a poster uses multiple ids to shill for his agency, website, or other business interest, we intervene. When a poster uses 20+ identities to have arguments with himself and others, we intervene. When general prickishness tips the scale beyond what we'll tolerate, we intervene.

 

All of the above has happened multiple times over the years.

 

None of that is happening today, to my knowledge.

Back when HooBoy was still alive I "thought" there was a program he used that showed log-in IDs and their ISP address. That would identify the same computer being used for multiple IDs.

 

I just assumed this was still being done.

 

And, in support of deej, I can remember when some members would post threads and argue with themselves using multiple IDs. But, again, I assumed this was terminated with the ID / ISP cross check.

 

Am I losing my mind or wasn't that actually happening a few years ago? When did it stop?

For anyone who wasn't paying attention (yes, the fortunate ones ), purplekow (who is a real live person who lives outside of my body, except for the times when he's been inside of me, but he's a top and they do stuff like that) posted something about missing IceFireWizard, to which I replied something like, "You're so bad." That's it. That's all it took to set Tom Isern off, accusing us (purplekow and me) of being the same person. Then "best hotel" took it from there, created this thread and spent the entire day repeating it over and over, demanding a full investigation. If only Congress had been so diligent over the last 8 years.
