Barranquilla, Colombia

Hi all!

I'll be visiting Barranquilla this week.

Anyone know any hot (safe) masseurs and/or hot (&safe) spas there? I  speak Spanish, although I have some trouble understanding the coastal Colombian accent!

Or is Grindr useful (&safe) to use there?

There were a couple of threads that mentioned Barranquilla on here ... but they are so old that they've been locked/discontinued.

Thanks for any more up-to-date advice you can offer!

Barranquilla is quite dangerous, and honey traps are the easiest way to get caught up.

Grindr in latinamerica is used by thugs and gang members to rob or attack guys. Be careful. 

A Mexican American friend,  fluent in Spanish was robbed and stabbed in México by a “Grindr hookup”. Luckily he recovered. But he needed surgery and rehab. 
 

A mexican friend, was also robbed (thugs emptied his checking account using his card and pin). They left him naked at a hotel.

Enjoy the food, the sightseeing, and learn new things about the culture. But save the hedonism for back home… it’s not worth your life.
