Saunas and steam rooms in New York

My office has a corporate deal with The Time Hotel on w49th/Broadway. Nice hotel with a gym. But guest get free passes to the TMPL Gym right down the street. Oh my god...the gayest gym on the planet. Now here is the deal. The steam room and sauna are just outside the pool. Both CO-ED. Signs everywhere. You must wear swim suits to enter either one. The guys ignore it. I see men coming down the stairs wearing nothing but a towel all the time. The real action takes place in the shower area which is very private and unbelievably cruisy. I must admit...hotties, everywhere looking to misbehave. Terp

I can add that, in my conversations w/escorts and masseurs about where they work out, TMPL comes up more than any other gym.

Any recommendations for UWS gym locker / steam / sauna play? Anything happen at the JCC on Amsterdam? Great pool, but how about after the swim?

NYSC on west 80s has a steam and action, or used to have.

That’s more the UWS and not midtown. There used to be 4 great NYSC’s. Now they are all closed. 😩

the crunch on west 83rd has a small sauna and i've had some fun there, but it's pretty hit or miss.
before i moved to crunch, the nysc on west 94th and broadway was always good for sauna/steam room fun. haven't been there in years so don't know what the scene is now. I miss it.

the steam room at TMPL HK has been under repair for a couple weeks.  Anyone know if it's fixed yet?
