Jarrod_Uncut
I probably make this post every couple years. But guess it’s time again. The infamous A4A. Once known for allowing escort and hookup ads in the same place (unlike many apps today). Now it’s just masseur and miscellaneous that’s able to be posted. But once again, I find myself considering to stop advertising on there, I’m looking at my number of bookings from there city by city, and it’s looking not great. I still get clients from it, but it’s at such a reduced volume . Despite it being $30 a month to advertise, it’s still $30 and a lot of logging in to get placement. They also did something with their City/search lookup that requires users to go by county. Sounds very governmental and limiting. Many users are using the A4A app and seem to not be able to see my nude pics for some reason. So I don’t know. The site has potential, but I’m considering letting it go. Plus I always have a full inbox, but very few are booking anything. I even have my number in 2 places on my ad. People still message me on there instead of texting me to book. I usually don’t have time to stay glued to it all the time. Any others using? Edited August 13, 2021 by Jarrod_Uncut marylander1940
Guest davebk
The site is stupidly awkward to navigate for sure. Changing the city location and other info is a chore. I like it for the distance setting and because there are a handful of more laid back providers who maybe throw up an add to see about getting started in the biz and that's helpful - but only if I'm willing to take the risk of a less reviewed provider. I did figure out that there is a stupid setting in there somewhere that can cause the site to default to their "safe for work" sfw site, and if that gets checked (which mine somehow did) then you can't see any profiles that have x pictures in it. I never turned that on and it took me a while to find it and turn it off. I don't really understand the concept since all the ads are overtly about sex, not sure how the site would ever be safe for work.
Jarrod_Uncut
Yeah, A4A has gone thru some layout changes over the years. Fortunently they’ve kept their site somewhat consistent in look. Some sites like gay.com and manhunt kind of faded after their site changes. But they also were replaced by sites like Adam and then the apps. Not to mention, the A4A app has come out but I usually use the mobile site…because if you use the app, you might also not be able to see nude pics. John
Every time I have used A4A I have never gotten an answer. I don't think most guys there are real or serious. Not worth the trouble.

Jarrod_Uncut
Revival thread: I’m reaching a point where I feel I may be removing my ad from the platform. Looking back over this year, 6 months in: I can probably count the amount of clients I’ve gotten from it on 1 hand. That’s literally like 1 a month, which isn’t the worst considering it’s price: but nobody seems to be booking anything from there. Especially in the smaller markets. It used to be good for that. But majority now either they flake or they say the rate is too much. Then they don’t volunteer how much they can pay, so It’s just a battle trying to get them to agree to anything. Doesn’t seem like the ones there are trying to pay legit escort rates. They have a completely unrealistic approach. If I let go of A4A, that’ll only leave me on 2 platforms plus my website. That is just not encouraging. I think it’s time for me to transition off of it and check some other sites. I been checking out one called escortalligator.eu, but in my area it seems only Black dudes advertising in the “bi” section, which to me kind of raises a brow. maninsoma
A lot of providers have left A4A. In San Francisco there used to be several pages of "Pros." Currently there is about 1 1/2 pages of providers within San Francisco, and then some other ones in other Bay Area locations. I’m in agreement. It seems if anything, there’s probably better luck on the apps than A4A. I wish the apps would let people advertise on them legit. Get verified, pay a fee and post. Not sure what’s holding ‘em back.

thejsmith71
As a consumer, I find A4A so annoying to use that I haven't ever used it to find a provider. jtwalker, bichiguy and TorontoDrew 2
