Hotmail Not So Hot

Has anyone else had trouble this weekend with Hotmail? It works, but only half the time. They tell you to check "network status" but that doesn't work either. Just checking...

I have several hotmail accounts (one for each of my personalities). I haven't had any problems getting into any of my accounts in the past couple of weeks.

 

But, I believe hotmail uses multiple servers and your account resides on one of the servers. When I have experienced outages in the past for one account, it hasn't seemed to affect other accounts. That led me to believe that not all my accounts reside on the same server.

It's still acting up. I click the try again button and it kicks in, only to fail the next time.

What browser are you using?

 

Oddly enough, Microsoft's Hotmail sometimes falls over in non-Microsoft browsers.

Mozilla...but that's not new. Maybe because I declined their upgrade?

I use hotmail for my primary business email and have not seen any issues. Both website and blackberry access has been fine with it this weekend. And, I use firefox.

 

I have had that error in the past before but it usually goes away in a few hours.

I am not having trouble with Hotmail but I do notice they are "upgrading" the "service". Unasked for upgrades have caused me a lot of grief over the years. This might be your problem.

Lucky, If it wasn't for your thread I'd never have known that I was having a problem with hotmail. Today, I sent an email and it indicated it was sent, but when I checked my "sent messages", there was no evidence of it. I had to re-write and re-send, btw, did you get it? Thanks for the alert. I'm also having troubles with x-tube... Coop
