Vague memories of a couple visits decades ago. (The Compound at the time) 

I fell in love…

…with the intricate and clever layout of spaces. First visit to a bathhouse, and at a slow time. 2nd time there was better.

They have evidently reopened post Covid and I didn’t even know they were in even still in business. Grindrcide, I figured. 
But no! 

Does anyone have any personal experience in the last few -erm…years?  That would have be a lot of skanky industrial carpet to replace 😈

I usually went to the one on IVAR, but I hit this one once or twice decades ago.  Currently, there are so many sex parties around LA, the sex clubs and the last remaining bathhouses feel a bit archaic.  Or, exclusive :-)

The Google street view shows an interesting van parked in front of the Spa.  Also if you rotate the view in the link below and follow the arrows into the Spa you can tour the inside as well and see the steam room, showers, etc.

I've usually enjoyed myself over the years that I've gone. The best time to go is closer to the weekend (Friday or Saturday nights) because otherwise its pretty slim pickings. Unfortunately it was never as good as Midtowne but it might have changed since there are less bathhouses these days.

It depends on when you go. On days when there aren't as many guys, the crowd tends to skew older, usually white or Latino men in their 40s-60s. When it's been busy, I've seen guys of all age ranges from 20s up. I've noticed it's usually older guys that get the rooms and often times they will leave their door open hoping a guy will come by and want to fuck them. North Hollywood is a pretty diverse area so I've seen white, black, Latino, Filipino, and some Middle Eastern men there.

Sounds interesting. Would you say there are hot guys included in the mix?

Just went to this place for the first time around lunch time and I wanted to share my experience.
It seemed busier than I expected for a Monday and for lunch time.  Definitely far below capacity though because the upstairs seemed empty and the sun deck was empty.  Almost everyone was in the sauna. 
The crowd was a mix of white and mostly Latinos - generally older but also a few younger guys too.  After I took a shower one of the younger guys followed me into the sauna - I couldn’t see two feet in front of me because it was so steamy and dark but I found a spot and the guy who followed me in sat somewhat close.  When my eyes started to acclimate I was able to see a few guys were stroking and a couple of guys were giving blowjobs in the corners of the room.  I was getting hard and the guy who followed me in started to reach for my dick and stroked it and eventually put it in his mouth.  He asked if I wanted to fuck him and he sat on my dick and it was intense.  I really loved feeling our slippery bodies moving against each other.  After a little while I told him I wanted to cool down and I went to the shower and I went to the sundeck to cool off.  He came up there too and I asked him if he wanted to fuck on the patio tables there and I did.  I didn’t want to blow my load too soon so I told him I was going to take a break and went down to shower and back into the sauna again.  Eventually I ended up fucking an older bear guy in his room and got my toes sucked in the sauna by a daddy type guy who was into feet.  The vibe overall was very fun and friendly.  The lunchtime crowd emptied pretty quickly though - most people were gone by 1:30-2pm.  It was genuinely an awesome experience and I already want to go back.
