Zac Efron to Go Nude On Stage?

According to internet rumors:

 

Disney heartthrob, Zac Efron, has been approached to take over from Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe in controversial Broadway play “Equus.”

 

Zac let slip at the London premiere of High School Musical 3, saying: “You know that Daniel Radcliffe role on Broadway, well it’s been mentioned.”

 

He is clearly hoping to shed his wholesome image.

 

Having just finished shooting period drama “Me and Orson Welles” alongside Claire Danes, the teen hottie is also set to team up with High School Musical director Kenny Ortega again for a remake of 80s flick “Footloose,” originally made famous by Hollywood A-lister Kevin Bacon.

 

But despite his success, Zac revealed he could still “mess up” and is hoping to get advice from the elite.

 

He said: ”I would love to just sit down and talk with Leonardo DiCaprio and Johnny Depp and pick their brains about their early careers.

 

”They do it because they love it, not because they enjoy being famous. You have to have good foresight and be really careful. If you don’t adapt and learn at a very young age, you can really mess up.”

But, other sites are reporting it's not true.

 

Rest easy, Daniel Radcliffe. Zac Efron is not taking over the controversial starring role in the Broadway play Equus.

 

"No," said Efron, 20, debunking Internet reports claiming that he would be replacing Radcliffe. "I think it's a great role but I was not approached."

I'd chose Daniel over Zac any day. Zac looks too put together too manufactured.

I have to admit that Zac Efron is awfully yummy and cute. Too young-looking for me, perhaps, but ever since he started working out he has one hot body -- better than Radcliffe's. He's also more classically good-looking.

 

Something about those eyes is just dreamy. Take a look at his "spread" in the new Entertainment Weekly. Hmm, hmm, good.
