Is it appropriate for an escort to suggest/encourage the client to author a review?

I've been escorting since 01/2007 and so far have received only 6 reviews. Refer to http://daddysreviews.com/finder.php?loc=N-0-31-10&who=nate_la

Inspired by the question, "3 measly reviews today?????????" posted on 8/18/08, I'm wondering how appropriate would it be for me to suggest my clients post a review of their experience?

My main hesitation/concern is not wanting to task my client with a possible time consuming review.

Your thoughts would be much appreciated gentlemen!

I don't like the idea of suggesting clients do reviews. Many know about the site and I feel that if they want to do a review they will on their own free will and will probably write out a more detailed review on their own. Reviews are great but what matters most to me is that if they are happy with the time spent together then they will want to see me again.

Can't answer for clients in general, but I would have no problem with an escort's saying something along the lines of "I'd appreciate your doing a review on daddy's if it's not too much trouble." I'd reserve this for clients with whom you felt some rapport, and I'd be prepared for the need to explain ("what's daddy's?", etc.).

I might have felt differently when I first started hiring.

If its been a slam, bam thank-you ma'am quickie it's a bit tacky to ask the john to write a review. However, if it's a repeat client or someone with whom you feel a specific mutual connection, I don't see any reason why you shouldn't tactfully ask him if he would feel comfortable sharing his experience with others and refer him to the appropriate websites.

As a client who has written quite a few reviews for the escorts who have definitely served me well, I like your thoughts and wholeheartedly agree. If an escort is stellar, hell yes, I want others to enjoy his expertise; thus I have always written a "detailed" review.

The last two escorts who I have seen recently have received reviews from me; one of the reviews has already been posted; I'd presume the other one is waiting in the wings.

Each day I await its being posted here, for this particular guy has no reviews for 2008; he and I briefly discussed it (my writing a review) after our hot session two or three weeks ago! He was eager for me to write about our time together. I, likewise, was willing and ready to word process, and that I did! :-)

I never do "slam bangs." All my dates are for a minimum of 2 hours. I throw in an extra hour of my time to ensure BOTH of us have a GREAT time. Personally,, I feel one hour just isn't adequate time to perform a proper "meet & greet" ( to allow mutual attraction/chemistry to brew), and then have adequate time for all the manly pleasures to be enjoyed - again by both parties.

Nate--I don't know if this will be helpful at all--one of the reasons you might not have as many reviews is because you are in California--take a look around at the number of LA escorts who have advertised forever and never had a review--unfortunately for the escorts--that is there are too many of y'all in one place.

Another thing--you are an incredibly handsome guy--I know--I've kept been interested in seeing you if I ever get to Southern California--but I think most of your pictures are several years old--it would be nice to see some new ones.

That might spark increased interest in your ad--get more new clients, and might lead to more reviews.

Thanks,

Gman

Davidsp as a client/john (I could care less which name people use) who hires quite frequently I have no difficulty with an escort asking me to write a review. I am always pleasant and say "of course". Now if the encounter wasn't all that outstanding I simply won't write the review which isn't a problem as I will certainly never see the escort again.

When I have a fantastic time with an escort I more often than not find myself asking him if he would like me to write a review. Over the years I have been suprised by the number of guys who say they would prefer that I NOT do so. I, of course, always honor that request.

BY ALL MEANS ASK -- NOTHING VENTURED NOTHING GAINED

I had a good time with a popular escort and I asked him if he'd like me to write a review--he said let's wait till we've had a 2nd session.

If an escort requests a review to be written, I, personally, would prefer it to be at the end of a session; this would avoid unnecessary expectations by either the client or escort. Otherwise, I have no issue with being asked to write a review...

1. A Working Guy knowing a Review will be written BEFORE THE FACT.. is both at an Advantage and Disadvantage!

2. What happens between 2 Consenting Adults is not ALWAYS a Guarantee that the "Next Client" will be of the same opinion! How many times have we read around here..Well he wasn't all that, didn't do this, doesn't do that etc!

3.Seriously to think SOME Working Guys donot-have not asked for Reviews many times...Ya gotta be pretty Gullible!

Is it appropriate Maybe Maybe not...Depends on who you Talk to! ;-)

My two cents:

I think it is perfectly fine for an escort to request a review. I feel it is akin to me asking my customers to recommend me to others if they were satisfied with my services.

I like it best when the escort sends a follow up email after our time together and says something to the effect..."if you were satisified with our time together, may I ask that you write a review?" and provides a link.

I think that is just good business.

Of course the downside is that you might not get a great review!

In a word, "YES!!"

I've counseled/mentored several escorts and I currently have a roommate who is an escort. I've always told them to bring up the subject when they feel a client has had a particularly good time. You'd be surprised how many clients do not know about this and the Brand X sites.

I have been asked on several occasions to write reviews and in most cases it has been at least after one repeat visit. Of course they all knew that I had enjoyed their services. In addition, I somehow sensed that they thought I would be capable of writing a review that actually meant something.

At any rate, in every case I was thrilled to do it… and they were not quickie slam bam types of submissions. Each was thoughtfully constructed so as to give a sense of what to expect from the services provided, plus each gave an insight into the escorts personality and character. One guy seemed almost too shy to suggest the idea. He started by saying, “Did you know that there is a review site…?” Others have said, “It has been a long time since I have gotten a review…” Still, another after receiving an email thanking him for his services wrote back saying, “If ever submitted, that would make a great review!” Hint hint!!!

The only time I was asked on the first visit to write a review was by one very upfront and sunburst in your face type of guy, who from what I gather seems to ask just about every client to submit something on his behalf. Indeed, he suggested the idea about 15 minutes into our 2 hour session… Not a good idea. What if I had not subsequently enjoyed myself? But then again he seems to beg every client for some publicity… Not incidentally, I tired of that guy rather quickly.

So in summary, it is indeed appropriate to ask for a review. In fact it is good business practice to do so. It is impossible to please every customer one hundred percent of the time. Consequently, the possibility of receiving a less than complementary review always exists. Therefore, a bit of a preemptive strike is always a good idea. However, it ideally should be requested form right type of client… That is when one perceives that a client would be capable of writing something meaningful and would be capable of doing it in a coherent manner.

< the back of his business card

With all due respect, if you were an escort would you have such a business card? The Vice is always out there. Why hand them a dangerous weapon? x(

Here is my two cents worth.

If you and the escort had a great time I think you should by all means write a review whether or not the escort asks you to. Not only will it possibly increase his future business, but helps to answer that age old question I always see on the message board.....

Anyone have experience with......???

I think writing about a positive experience not only helps the escort but all the others members of the board who rely on these reviews to make an informed decision on whether to hire or not hire a particular escort. I know I certainly find them helpful when I am making a hiring decision.

Again only my two cents worth...

I have a fairly hectic existence, and if I considered writing an escort review, I would probably keep shuffling it to the bottom of my to-do list and it would not get written.

On the other hand, if I am asked to write a review and I agree to do so, I feel obligated to keep my word and I would take the extra time needed to get the review done.

So, in my case at least, if you don't ask you probably don't get.

For me, asking in person rather than in writing is preferable. On one occasion, I was recruited to write a review while still in the afterglow of a particularly hot session. Thinking about how I would write the review kept that glow burning long into the dark ride home in my car.

I have never seen a purplekow;

I never hope to see one;

I can tell you anyhow;

I'd rather see than be one

Help there is a purplekow in my mirror

RE: Thinking about how I would write the review kept that (after)glow burning long into the dark...

How true!!!

Plus, rereading your appraisal after it has been posted tends to bring back "fond" memories as well! So guys, another good reason to submit those reviews!

  • 2 weeks later...

I recently had a fantastic two hours with an escort. After he was dressed, he asked if I would mind doing a review, not that he needs one. He knew I had had a great time and when he asked, I kissed him and said I already had decided to do a review. Again he has many great reviews but I really felt I should review him after our hot session, and did not mind his asking.

I've never had an escort actually ask me to write a review. I have, however, had them tell me it would be fine with them if I did. Consequently, these are the escorts who have the most and best reviews on this site. So...
