As a few folks suggested, I went ahead and booked Timmy. It was total upselling right after 10 minutes. Kept saying all my customers give me very good tips. For almost 20 minutes, he kept repeating the same things. He then realized I wasn’t enjoying it since I was completely upset. One thing I don’t understand: even if we forget about the tip for a few minutes, I’m still paying the base rate of $70 for one hour. Anyone would pay at least a $20 tip without being asked. So why spoil someone's mood so badly and waste $90, which is the minimum I’m talking about? On top of that, I didn’t see any good quality in the massage.

I left in a bad mood and still gave him a $50 tip as I felt he just wanted money badly. I really don’t like this kind of tip-begging behavior.

I’ve been to a few spas and have seen some people showing interest in tips at the beginning, but not bagging like this at TSMS.

I'm so sorry you had that experience with him.  I had a session with him a few months ths back and it was the same. Just not a very good massage and he kept asking about tips which I ignored.  At the end I have a decent tip and he had the nerve to text me and say what you didn't enjoy the massage.  Well I responded back and told him it wasn't a very good one and no pressure.....

It seems that Kenny has coached Brian about my tips and as a result, I had a much more interactive experience today with Brian. Left very happy.

The power of persuasion and above all, the almighty $dollar$!

You were too kind.  I don't give a reward when not satisfied.  He could beg all he wants.  You left unhappy and in a bad mood and it cost you $120.  Sorry for your experience.    Better luck next time.

Text this number (929) 329-9783 — the manager, Jimmy, will take care of everything I need. I always ask Jimmy for help.

Whichever of the boys is free, will respond to that number, not just Jimmy.

Never once has this happened to me with Timmy, I’m really surprised. Like any of us at work, he may have been having a bad day. I think overwhelming he is worth a try if you never have. I find his massage quality to be top tier, especially since becoming a regular of his.

Another tactic - Often with new people (usually at HK27, not TSMS) I tell them up top that I tip well to negate any reason for negotiation. It shouldn’t be necessary, I know, but often it helps.

If I have booked a new guy that doesn’t  know me, I leave 3 banknotes of $50 clearly visible on the table next to my watch and other personal things, to indicate what I am ready to tip. Never had a negotiation since I started doing this.

So you always tip $150 over the spa rate, or take away as needed?

I hadn’t realised there is a Charlie at TSMS. He works only part time with, if I understand well, a schedule that is difficult to predict.

He is from China and speaks good English, about 5’6” maybe 5’7”
I tried him today and found some beautiful muscles under that shirt.

I think I will invest into a few well-tipped massages to gain his trust, there could be a big reward as a result.

Damn! I had a 50/50 shot with Charlie the other day but I went with Brian instead. They were the two who were available when I walked it. Brian was just ok. Flirty but limited fun. Now I really wish I had gone with Charlie. lol

Meh. Not going to repeat, personally.

At the end I got "you'll give me a good tip, yes?"

But at least it was at the end.

I had a similar experience with Liam, who is a fairly cute Asian guy in his early twenties.

The massage was okay and he was eager to please, but the overall effect was meh.

Same treatment at the end, "please tip 100%."

Brian can be very, very good, but you need to show him what you are ready to pay.
He also gave me a really good massage before the fun happens.
