I texted him 6 months ago to see when he would be visiting and when I could see him again. He responded briefly about being busy working to pay rent (it was an FYI, not a solicitation for $). I get the impression that he's going through some stuff and hasn't been making the rounds like he was before the pandemic. He was a really sweet, thoughtful, and was super professional when I saw him a few years ago. I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt since some we go through life or personal stuff and have to withdraw a bit from our side job. Give him some time. Hopefully he is doing okay and will be sort things out and get into a good place with work, life, etc. Disclaimer: I don't know him personally and I don't know any inside information on him.
