Jackie Gleason in the 1960 musical "Take Me Along" based on Ah! Wilderness. Walter Pigeon was the star, but Gleason stopped the show with his singing and comic abilities. He won a Tony Award for Best Actor in a musical. The CD is available

Again, David Burtka was completely naked in the off Broadway play by Albee. David was worth seeing, the play wasn't.

I bet I could have gotten my dad to go to see that show although he would have been 14 at the time so I'd need a time traveling device. My dad hated anything cultural but absolutely loved Jackie Gleason. I grew up on him but never knew of this show. I'll have to buy the CD.
