Assuming you have a domestic partner, husband, or significant other, would you ask your partner his opinion before getting a tattoo? Would you get it anyway if he said he preferred you didn't?

Well since he has to look at it every day, yes I would ask. Would also ask my BFF who has excellent taste. Only if they both agree... ?
