For first-timers, I'd recommend the male-only spas over private providers, as the spas operate daily from around noon till 1-2am, and the receptionists are on standby to answer whatsapp or phone. There are roughly 30 of these spas currently in operation, about half on Hong Kong island, and half in Kowloon; mostly around Causeway Bay for Hong Kong, and TST and YMT for Kowloon. A 90 min massage is 400-500 hkd with at least a 500 hkd mandatory "tip" paid directly to the masseur. This tipping system is meant to keep the spa legal, as individual sexwork is allowed but profiting off the sexwork of others is a crime. So for around 1000hkd, you get a shower, massage room, and erotic massage with happy ending. If you want oral or anal, the masseur will quote you an additional tip if they're willing. For the masseur to bottom, it'll be around a total of 1700-2000 hkd all costs included. The system works relatively well if you have a body type that the receptionist can recommend. They may even show you body pics and height/weight of their masseurs. They will never show face pics. Any spa you see with face pics is in China. If you want a more private experience, most of the spas also do outcalls, which are more expensive. It's only a few MTR stops from Central and quite a tidy place. Actually one of the more "upscale" (a term I use lightly here) massage spots I've been to in Hong Kong. Meaning, it's clean, bright, and feels professional. The rooms have individual showers and the towels were clean, etc. My masseur was Bill - maybe a bit of an oaf, but a friendly guy who has a fantastic body. If you like a taller muscled (but not too much) swimmers builds with abs, this guy is for you. Also one of the more well-endowed Asian masseurs I've experienced. He also sang a bit in the shower afterwards, which I found quite sweet. The massage was fine - some stretching as well - as he noted I was quite tight. He also seemed quite flexibly in terms of what services he offers. I would book him again! Not the best facilities, but the masseur was hot… 20s, amazing body and a ton of fun. No mention of tip at any time but it was a wonderful experience.
