Um, prepare yourself. In Vietnam, according to this story, used condoms are being cleaned and resold. The intensive labor needed should make that not at all cost effective, then there is the question on how they would obtain some 345,000 used condoms. Don't most guys flush them?

Maybe the unnamed source of the condoms was one guy giving from his own activities...that would make collection easier

On a serious note, the story was broadcast by Vietnamese TV and broadcast by Reuters. So it’s probably true.

Disturbing indeed. By the way, you shouldn’t flush condoms - they should not go into the septic system. (I am not a plumber but I am...good with pipes!!) ? I’ve been told that you should wrap used condoms in tissue paper and put them in the trash.

 

Perhaps they are combing landfills to locate these condoms? ?
