We post every day, have 500 full length videos there with over 1000 photos and are in the top 3% creators on OF and JFF both. We have a lot of friends in the "business", however, who have scoffed at us for losing money by not posting PPV content. Yet there seem to be more than enough people paying (or "falling") for the PPV scheme/model because the last year this type of model has exploded on Onlyfans. And people using the PPV model seem to be raking in the cash (or are overstating their success, which is equally likely).

 

It's one of the reasons why I've decided to stop subscribing to Onlyfans in general because almost all accounts are now PPV and a spamming of ads for other accounts. So you're basically paying a subscription fee to see ads. I wonder if this bubble will burst, when paying customers will finally stop subscribing entirely because of the garbage level content.

I couldn't agree more @Wolfer. I follow two OnlyFans accounts: MasterChen and Jeff Kasser. Jeff Kasser posts mostly modeling pics on his wall with a glimpse of full frontal, but his more revealing DMs are priced from $3.99 for full frontal pics to $29.99 for erect/erotica 8 minute videos. I know he only charges $7.99 a month, but the PPV still annoys me. He's handsome, has a perfect body, and a huge veined dick, but I'm likely done with Onlyfans. That bubble could burst and soon.

The other thing that bothers me about OnlyFans and their similar sites, Xtube and PornHub are turning into advertising sites for OnlyFans. I want free porn, not my search results clogged up with 'previews' for OnlyFans stuff. I understand that people are trying to make a buck, but at least put some free videos on Xtube if you are going to use it for advertising.....

At the end of the day, it’s the creator’s page to do with as he wishes and my dollars to spend where I wish. And honestly, if the creator is well-known, there are tons of free content on various websites. Unless he’s doing something completely different, why would I pay for what is already available for free?

Well, we believe there are a few reasons people pay to see what we do...or what any creator does. First, it's real sex between us. It's not staged for cameras or random scene partners. The husband has certainly done enough of that to know the routine and is not at all interested in repeating it. This model is much more sustainable for the participants and seems much more engaging for the consumers. Second, you get to know us pretty well. Since it is real sex and our real encounters, you get a connection to us that you don't get through the studio work. Somebody mentioned Gabrielle Cross doing a good job at engaging his subscribers. Yes, that part of it is crucial and takes a tremendous amount of attention. Between creating the content, editing the content, creating the posts and responding to the subscribers, it is a second full-time job. We even include fuck sessions with subscribers. It's the ultimate in connection with the "fan base". And third, I think a lot of people realize you don't get the free stuff without somebody being paid to create it in the first place. If there wasn't a monetary incentive for creation, you wouldn't get the content you want to see, even in clips and teasers. There aren't enough exhibitionists out there willing to post purely for the cause of exhibitionism.

 

Now, obviously there is plenty of pirating going on. You can always say that's what will continue to give you the free stuff to watch. We pursue those fairly vigorously and are mostly successful in having things removed. That being said, it does happen. However, if the content you're seeing is always pirated and the creators lose money due to the practice, then that goes away. When that goes away, then what are you left with? JustforFans does this really well. It gives blurred out previews of photos but you can see just enough to determine whether a dick is out or not in the shot and every video posted gets about a 5 to 10 second preview.

 

Onlyfans has a setting where either no posts are shown to non-subscribers or the posts are shown individually but with a "locked" icon but the description is visible to non-subscribers. They recently also added that the length of videos is shown to non-subscribers. I wish Onlyfans creators were forced to show the previews because I think that would go a long way to determining whether that creator is shit posting 5 second vids or actually uploading quality content.
