in Firefox, there is a Search By Image add-on that you can download into the browser for free......has been helpful at times......right-click on a photo and the search option will be a choice

I get better results with yandex.com . It is Russian, so it does not have the "no face recognition" sensitivities of tiney and google.

Google does not do face recognition when you do reverse image search. They used to years ago. They stopped it to comply to privacy and data protection regulations. Russian based Yandex has no such concerns.

I expect they do. They all do. Google, Facebook, Apple, LinkedIn. Don't think that Yandex does anything that Google and the others don't do. After all Google invented this industry.

One sure fire kludge, take a screen shot, crop down to the pic only, save to photos. Then you can use tineye or any of the search sites by dragging/copying/uploading from your photos.

think @Lucky is pointing out that a Russian search firm gathering and selling personal data and snooping on email could lead to more dire consequences than would the same activities being conducted by an American firm.
