I was grinding away at work one evening years ago listening to my ClassicFM from London

in the background when my ears could not ignore a violin concerto I was not familiar with. Was the 1st movement of the Korngold Violin Concerto, the artist Gil Shaham. New York critics panned it as the Hollywood Concerto but is still part of the repertoire after 75 years. Is on my bucket list to see performed live.
