Would you see a therapist that had worked in adult entertainment?

I’ve spent time with two escorts who hope to be therapists after they graduate and I think both of them would do very well in the profession. Based on my experiences with each, the fact that a therapist had such a background wouldn’t bother me, but at least for the first couple of visits I can see myself envisioning them in other ways.

I'd been in therapy for years but it was the former escort MIck, now retired, that got me to open up and talk about abuse, including sexual, that happened in childhood. He gave me my life and I am so much happier and better off for having met him. He's the first person I ever trusted - trusted to the point that when I bought a new apartment I called him for decorating advice. :) Truly, a kind and quality human being.

I wouldn’t have any issues with a therapist who escorted or appeared in porn videos. Same for any other profession an escort choose when he’s ready to move on in life. Its the professional qualifications that should matter. Some may have an issue with a sex worker in a particular field and that’s their problem to deal with if they cannot handle the matter.

I am no expert on talk therapy but if I were to pay for therapy, a guy that has done porn might be a relatively great choice, especially for those of you that are ashamed of being gay, being a hungry bottom, what have you. You might benefit from a therapist that is not phobic about gay sex.

Heard a guest on NPR (so it was kind of credible) that 70% of people surveyed were aware of conspiracy theories concerning vaccinations containing microchips, Soros/Gates world domination, G5 cellular technology and COVID virus, and that 30% of the ones aware believed at least part of the conspiracy to be true.

Would you want a therapist that was represented by the 30%? They are out there. I have an acquaintance that is an anti vacc'er and believes there were explosives in the towers that fell on 9/11. She is a marriage counselor.
