I get what you mean, but I was merely suggesting an anonymous payment option there.

Well that's the thing: I HAVE BEEN picking up new clients where I've required a deposit. I just said in another post, that most all my recent appointments have been clients who've paid deposits.

 

I no longer feel compelled to do it any other way going forward. I don't care who doesn't take deposits. But there's plenty who do. Just over the last 7 days, I've had 4 "appointment requests" fall thru, along with several other texts from clients in my rotation city who haven't gotten around to meeting.

 

Guess how many appointments I had out of all that? 1. 1 appointment last week. And I was sent a deposit. Fortunately it was a 2 hour, but regardless. I don't see any further need to sell and extend myself to every guy who contacts me anymore. One last week texts and tells me he'll "call someone else" because he has to work in the evening, since I couldn't come "right away". Not like he dared to contact with any advance notice. So yeah, maybe they should call someone else, who is willing to deal with their bullshit.

 

Everything they need to know is right in the ad. What else could they possibly need to know? When you take a few texts a day from clients inquiring and then saying, "i can't make it work today/this week after all", and add it up in the long run, that's hours and days working and not being paid for it. I refuse to be played like a fool much longer.
