Kobe Bryant felt "violated" by wearing what look to me like normal men's basketball shorts, instead of the ladies' skirts that they usually wear today. He actually sees no difference between those "old school" shorts and thongs. I especially like the word choice of "violated," though. That's the best part.

Everytime this kind of things happen I am still mesmerized at how in this Country people are SO concerned about publicly exposing a nipple, a buttock, a testicle, the head of a penis....

 

Shouldn't they be concerned about more important things?

Ann Landers's column recently had a letter from someone who was horrified because the neighbors' sixteen year old son walked around the house nude in front of the rest of the family and even some guests. I'd like to have them as my neighbors.

Damn Charlie your post brought back a funny old memory. I vividly remember that about 30 years ago my youngest nephew, then a seventeen year old high school baseball stud, used to walk around the house naked all the time. One day when I was there someone knocked on the door and my naked nephew start off to answer it. I can still hear my sister screaming "If you open that damn door like that so help me god I will kill you" He didn't and I nearly died laughing. My sister, brother-in-law and I still laugh about this incident. My nephew, however, just plushes purple when we recount the story in front of his kids. Damn life is fun if you don't take it too seriously.

I hate those silly shorts that are so long!! It can be so difficult to find sexier, shorter, and better fitting shorts that show off one's assets. I hope that this might be the first sign that the better shorts of yesteryear are returning to being in style. I've never understood why so many of my contemporaries choose to wear extremely baggy shorts. You can't tell if there's a bubble-butt, a good package or anything under there. All you see is tons of fabric moving about.

 

Another thing about shorts (and pants for that matter) that I just cannot understand is why so many people my age wear them with the waist so low. I could understand it if it was to show off some great underwear. I love wearing great underwear, especially briefs with great colors that show off the front and back well. Almost all of the guys who wear their pants this low are showing boxers (they type that you get in a ten-pack. Also, wearing them so low only further inhibits showing off one's assets.

 

I really hope that the new shorts that were seen here are coming back in fashion. That would be great!! I'd love to have an easier time finding shorter and sexier shorts!!

That's why I perfer to watch diving and swimming although there is a movement afoot to have the swimmers forgo their speedos in favor of the mush less revealing body suite. Is nothing sacred any more?

Hey Jared, here's my secret (well, not so secret) source for sexy shorts: shop at American Apparel (they have stores in Toronto but they're also online) and get any of the women's shorts (they're actually unisex, but sold as "women's). Here are some guys wearing them (they don't look like women, do they?) :
