Guys that have this affliction are often embarrassed by it, and seek correction, but as an admirer, I don't mind a "curve", and often enjoy servicing it.. However if the condition is causing physical and emotional discomfort then help should be sought out.

OMG, yes. Always be careful of accidents when you have an erection. When erect it's like a bone and can break like one. It can't exactly go in a cast so it just heals in whatever shape.....often right angle. Every time I see a porn scene where a guy with an erection jumps on top of someone I think of it. Peroynie's can often be "rubbed out" eventually, but broken dick is harder to recover from.

It's up to 20% in older guys (they say....I haven't personally done a study.) I had it to about a 45% angle sideways for about a year and it self-corrected by "strenuous exercising" it. It's an issue for insurance coverage in the UK now.

I can speak from personal experience after my dick was "broken" when an escort sat on me too agressively while he was bottoming. Took about a year but I ended up with about a 30 degree curve to the right that became very concerning to me. Thought about seeing a specialist, but after extensive reading, I discovered that the condition sometimes/perhaps oftentimes corrects itself. Which is exactly what happened in my case. After two or three years, the curve to the right is gone. I now have a very slight upward curve when erect which I didn't have before...and, as someone noted above, my dick is now about 1/2 to 3/4 inch shorter and has a little more girth than it did previously. Still works just as well, however...and still LOVES attention, from me to be sure, but is MUCH more partial to attention from someone else!!! Hope this helps others who might be dealing with this condition!

I almost thought I broke mine once. I think because I was with a woman at the time, it kept it from actually happening. It happened after heart surgery. Visited my urologist, he told me often happens after heart surgery where they put you on heart/lung machine, something no one tells you is a side effect up front. Not a major curve, mostly painful getting it up but that all went away after a few months. The result dick is different, lost length (which was the main feature) and gained girth.

Apparently plaque builds up in tissue so when blood flows in it gets blocked in these areas causing a curve.
