Park Hyatt NYC. Floor-to-ceiling window walls facing Carnegie Hall, huge rooms, designer tubs in front of the window wall, separate shower in the bath. Screams money and taste.

In DC the new Intercontinental at the Wharf.

In Prague the Intercontinental in old town in winter. In summer a penthouse room with a patio at the Jalta.

In Zurich the Marriott's 40th floor rooms with window walls facing old town and Lake Zurich.

Any Motel 6 close to the front gate of a Marine base.

A much need it thread, that Hudson hotel looks great. I also need to use hotel in my city, I dont live alone so i cant take anyone home. The Pennsylvania Plaza New York, is cheap and close to one of my offices so i can get earlier, shower and relax; i admit it, i get a bit nervous before I meet a guy, at $97 to $120 and is that type that is so crowded that you and your companion can get mixed with the crowd. Any others in NYC, Florida?

If you want a big hotel where you can blend into the crowd in NYC, they don't get much bigger than the NY HIlton or the Marriott Marquis.

I share the same view, I also would rather stay in a hotel.

I stay in plenty of Airbnb places and I’ve never had a problem. In many cases, they offer self check-in, so you never meet the host. Besides, if I’m paying, I’ll bring whoever the hell I want to my place. Some guys worry too much about what hotel employees might think. Believe me, they’ve seen it all. Most of my companions are attractive and friendly, so the hotel staff love chatting and sometimes flirting with them.

Good point!

I just feel more comfortable in a hotel's high floor with a big king size bed.

Plenty of threads on here about guys who are afraid of what employees might think or do. You should quote them.

Well most AirBnbs I've stayed at had the host somewhere nearby. Also, I'd feel weird having sex in someone else's home while I'm staying as a guest. So maybe not "nervous" and more like "guilty" haha

WOW. I'm sure straight couples stay in AIRBNBs all the time and fuck (and god knows what else) in them. Noone would question that, and I'm sure they wouldn't feel guilty about it. Mind you, this is only if you are renting your own place, may not apply if you are renting a room in someones house although straight couples would fuck there too.....they just might not have escorts coming & going :p

No worries, my judgment doesn't discriminate- straight people shouldn't do it either ;). I just find the whole thing so weird since sex involves so many *ahem* fluids. Part of me is always hesitant to have sex in hotels because I always feel bad about the mess. I'd actually love to hear some thoughts from some AirBnb hosts about sex in their rooms.

In NYC I frequently stay at Club Quarters properties. They have a consistent formula, and moderate prices. All their hotels include a club room with snacks, coffee/espresso machine computers printers and lounge. They self-service have filtered water and bottles on every floor. You can often get a suite here for the price of a regular room in another hotel. They have locations downtown (wall st, ground zero) and midtown. Of course, there are deals to be had on Hotwire, depending on the dates...only negative is you don't know the exact hotel until you book, but you do know the neighborhood and #stars rating. I've always been happy with my bookings on Hotwire.

Guest MikeThomas
It's Manhattan in brand-new rooms that average 500 sq ft. That's pretty normal.

And intro rates are lower at the moment. I've seen $420/night on bulk sites.

Agreed... but $695 per night for regular rates still gives me sticker shock. I love New York. I always tell myself it’s cheaper to visit 4 times per year than live there all year round.

Will look for the bulk rates. Seeing MouLin Rouge January 2nd... need a room.

When are you coming to Chicago :-)

Thanks all! GREAT advice and recommendations.

Leaning towards a LV trip around Thanksgiving. Flights from Philly are CHEAP and hotels in Vegas drop in price the weekend after Thanksgiving.

Hoping https://rent.men/ZacheryScott is available for an overnight!

Planning another trip in February.

Thanks again.

Zach treats his clients right! So attentive . Really pampers you.

In New York I try to stay in the theater district. I've stayed at the Novotel, Courtyard Central Park, Millennium, London (now Conrad), Marquis. Edison, and Sheraton Times Square.

Edison: fantastic location, at times inexpensive, all types of rooms, older hotel

Marquis: great location if you like to be in the middle of the action in Times Square, expensive most of the time, decent sized rooms, okay ambience

Novotel: good location on the edge of Times Square away from the crowds, rooms with contemporary ambience

Courtyard: on the edge of Times Square away from the crowds, smaller rooms but corner rooms with floor to ceiling windows can have amazing views

Millennium: good location just off Time Square, floor to ceiling windows with some good views

London (Conrad); located on the edge of Times Square, can be expensive, large rooms, lots of windows, nice views, huge bathroom and shower

Sheraton: located on the edge of Times Square, your basic hotel

Some of these hotels can be expensive, but if you different times of the year you can find affordable deals, though it's harder to find good deals for the Marquis and the Conrad.

Las Vegas: There are so many hotels that offer great rooms for a night with a hot escort, and you can find decent rates at various times of the year. I like to stay on the strip and lean towards to hotels with floor to ceiling windows and great views. Here are my favorites so far.

Aria: Wonderful rooms, corner suites with awesome floor to ceiling windows, high tech, amazing toilets, huge showers

Pallazo: beautiful suites, floor to ceiling windows with great views, sunken living room, romantic ambience

Signature: the three towers behind MGM (may go by different names), condos/suites, very nice, can find great rates

Wynn: beautiful rooms, floor to ceiling windows with great views

In Chicago I like to stay Hard Rock Hotel and the Swissotel. The Hard Rock is an old office building that was turned into a hotel. Interesting rooms and great location on Michigan Avenue. The Swissotel also has a good location on the Chicago River. It's a very contemporary hotel, with attractive rooms.

If you're looking for a very small, very functional room with a gigantic bed (bigger than a king), check out the CitizenM in Times Square.
