Yeah, I don't get that level of social immaturity within the community.

 

I find the guys who talk down to bottoms like that are usually the people getting laid least.

I don't understand where the bottom-shaming comes in... I just find @JEC's definition of terms to line up with my experiences. Talking down to anyone is wrong.

I'm a top but I believe communication beforehand makes for a better time by all. I hate asking a guy who is listed as Top if he bottoms but I get providers who will and we have a good time. Likewise I know a couple who advertise as versatile top who don't bottom. One such provider claimed he lists as versatile top because he bottoms, just not with clients ?

I have my own personal decoder :

Bottom = Super pig power bottom (dick=oxygen)

Verse/Bottom = Bottom, will top rarely if the money is right

Verse = Bottom, will top if they really have to

Verse/Top = Truly verse, likes bottoming but its not their kryptonite

Top = Top

 

I'm vers, and I present myself as vers, because I am vers. If I was a bottom, I'd say I'm a bottom. I say I'm vers because I'm...wait for it...vers.

 

I don't understand why folks make this so much more complicated than it is. Just identify what you are and accept people how they identify lol

No, I think you could be making a mistake. Some of the best tops that I have enjoyed have been versatile. I have always let them know that I am a btm and not interested in being a top.
