Curious to know if escorts keep records on client meet-ups. Client name, phone number, what the client looks like, hygiene, what the client was into, whether it was a good session, etc., so when the client calls again, you’ll have a recollection of the previous time together.

I am not asking from a privacy concern perspective.

Last week I asked the same question to an escort from Canada who was visiting the US and also travels to Mexico. I thought he might have helpful historical notes about me on his phone. He said no. He deletes all such info before he crosses the border because he doesn’t want to risk having border patrol folks review his phone records and find out he’s an escort. Happily, he has a good memory and we do fine without notes. ?

I've always been impressed with one hooker buddy of mine who always texts the client very quickly after the session saying something like "it was great meeting you" or the like. Come to realize that is more for his record keeping (the text thread will reflect that the guy actually showed up and the appointment went well) than for marketing.

as a client - I would be impressed and kinda expect a provider.

This week I reached out to a well known provider who I met two years ago at Daddy DC luncheon. When he wrote back he mentioned something specific about our brief meet and greet.

Regarding border crossing and cellphone / laptops - I've been horror stories regarding american citizens reluctant to provide password's to their own devises when dealing with Customs and Boarder Protection.

When I cross the border I clean my browser history and delete my gmail app.

Interesting... you delete your gmail app. This implies you're using Google's Free Mail Service for escort related correspondence. Do you have any idea how much of that data is being mined and marketed by Google?

Some keep everything.... others just save numbers of regulars, no-shows, weird callers, potential clients in visiting cities, etc.

I would be cautious if I was an escort to keep financial record about how much money was made on monthly basis and from who... it could be used against him if he gets in trouble with the police or IRS.

I’m sure you are right, but I use an alias with gmail. Perhaps that doesn’t even matter if they have my IP address. I did one of those gmail privacy checks a while back, but who knows.

I guarantee Gmail has your IP addresses and in order to open the account, you had to give them some personal information including an alternate email account. You can check by clicking on the Account information in the upper right of the mail page.

The USA has a very long history of violating American civil and privacy rights at its borders and within the constitutional rights "exclusion zone." It's only gotten worse since 9/11 and now under the current xenophobic administration.

Anyone, American or not, would be very wise to be on their best behavior and have excellent opsec when entering or leaving the USA. Doubly so since CBP demonstrated the usual incompetence of any large authoratarian organization gathering data on everyone when they were deeply hacked and had millions of records stolen earlier this year.

The best way to protect yourself is with a full opsec inventory and plan. I'm not remotely as hardened as I used to be, but here's a decent starting place for ideas. Keep in mind, we're talking about nation states and they effectively have unlimited resources, so if they really want to know everything about you, they will most likely find it in time.

Services like 1Password have a travel mode that removes sensitive data from your devices and even the cloud ( hidden ) until you tell it to restore it once you've crossed the border.

I’m curious how this works. Does it remove the app so it’s not visible or does it just logged you out?

A former Escort Of The Year here accidentally emailed me his spreadsheet about his clients: name, phone, fee, comments.

Very illuminating.

I believe it! I had the same happen to me - a masseur who accidentally emailed me (and his other clients) a spreadsheet detailing dates, times, names, email addresses, fees paid and his personal comments. Was it truly accidental, or was there another motivation? Needless to say, I never hired him again.

How odd that more than one client had a provider email him a list of other clients' information. How careless does one need to be to do that?!

I do occasionally get a spam email that appears to come from a guy I hired off Craigslist over 15 years ago, and the recipients of the email are all listed in plain view. I suppose I could assume that all of those other email addresses belong to clients, but maybe the guy used the same email address for other purposes. Still, it's kind of odd knowing that I guy I hired is either sending out spam in this way or, more likely, his email address has been hacked and is being used to send spam showing everyone's email info.

I know who you’re talking about and yeah what a great system.

I personally save as first name, city, and a character. This character can mean different things such as avoid. I’ll put a small note too nothing crazy or identifiable.
