So this wont give you the phone number of every unlisted escort available but it's very helpful nonetheless.

How many times have you spent 20 minutes jumping around a website looking for the best possible direct contact number for a given company or had to sit on the line being bounced around by phone trees.

Welcome to http://www.gethuman.com/

It even grades how helpful the given number is at getting to a human. For companies like Apple who are experts at avoiding a person to person chat it doesn't provide too much help but think about what a pain in the ass it is to find their number on the website.

The down side now is the human you reach will likely be in an off shore call center and English may not exactly be their native language. Ever tried customer service for an airline? Or Dell? ICC - Indian Call Center Hell. x(

You'll also reach ICC Hell for your satellite internet for DirectWay (now Hughes), but as the YouTube video shows, they're so damn nice it's hard to get mad. "My name's Mahatmamasupilathiasanagiasan, but you can call me Steve. What's your name?"

I believe Expedia's Call Center is in the Philippines.

Recently I had to contact United Airlines to stratighten out an upgrade situation. By chance I wound up with the ICC and the guy answers "Thank you for calling United Airlines, My name is 'Adam Smith' how may I help you?" Not wanting to miss the opportunity I told the guy that I really enjoyed reading his book in Econ class. This threw him he replied "Thank you for calling United Airlines, my name is 'Adam Smith' how may I help you?"

I then explained my situation which he could not fix in any way since the solution was not in the script they gave him. After 15 minutes of constantly being put on hold I hung up, called again, and called once more before getting a US based agent. Problem fixed in less than five minutes and I got my upgrade.

Isn't it amazing how one employee represents the whole corporation?

A pleasant, efficient and knowledgable representative is where you find him or her. Bad ones are everywhere and easy to find.

Too bad.

Best regards,

Indeed. And it's a double-conundrum because nobody can (or is willing to) afford to pay truly knowledgeable people what they're worth for front-line support. You'll typically get entry-level people as a first tier, and they're the ones least prepared to put the best face on the company.
