With tax season approaching and expenses being calculated, I couldn't help but wonder if '06 was a better year for hiring escorts than past years. For me, I did find myself hiring more in '06 than in '05. Anyone else counting?

Not a good year at all for escorts. I don't know what 2007 has in store.

I have made plans for my holidays, and have kept in touch with a guy from Toronto. I sent him an email this month and he never replied, so maybe I wasted money on plane tickets, but time will tell.

If my first plan doesn't work out, then I'll work on plan B, which could end up being better, because plan B would involve Raul from Chicago :-)

I also moved from Southern Ontario last year, which meant missing out on SA when he went to Toronto, this year, because TO is quite a distance from where I live now.

Location is a huge factor these days, so that dictates a lot about what I can and can't do.

So that's where I'm at as far as escorts go this year.

I usually hire when I travel and I've traveled much less than in past years in my new job. So that meant less hiring. There haven't been many traveling escorts in town who caught me interest, either. I may do more travel this year, but I'll have to see if that translates into hiring.

This year I hired only three times, my lowest number since 1978. I think it's become just too easy and predictable to be exciting. (Or have I become too easy and predictable to get excited?)

Beefeater, do you hire for medical reasons? That would qualify you for the medical deduction. My doc says I will qualify next year...:)

Lucky, How can hiring qualify for a medical deduction? Can you tell the IRS that it's to test out the pills the doc prescribed for ED? :-) Hey, good luck next year!

You can deduct BUSINESS EXPENSES!

That is if you have Business Earnings!

You might need to add monkey business.

Or just continue to deduct the Medical Expenses.

I told my doc that if I don't hire, I'll go nuts! He said that was a good medical reason, but he needed to see more evidence!

If he had already seen YOU...what further evidence would any competent doctor ever need?

RE: You can deduct BUSINESS EXPENSES!

I knew the economy was hitting the pits three years ago when I was telling everyone from the hill tops to buy gold and silver bullion. Now I dont want to think what state were all in considering there are so many down indicators.

In my mind the important question is, "Are 'my' escorts better off in '06 than past years."

Some of the guys are not at all better off since they were dropped from my list. :( As I get older I'm finding myself less attracted to the younger (and often newer) guys. The generational differences have made my experiences with them less fulfilling and we just don't seem to connect.

For other escorts (still younger than me but socially mature), they are better off because I'm doing more repeat business with them. :9 A big thumbs-up to those that have contributed to my '06 enjoyment.

But, to answer the original question, my hiring in '06 was less than previous years. In large part that's due to my hectic work schedule which has limited my free time while on business travel. I'm also suffering from a lack of local escorts and there haven't been too many traveling guys coming through my home state.
