RentMen is unfortunately catching on in Europe. We clients are paying the $300/mo fee many times over. Hunqz has always been nice because it was free and many more guys advertised. But as they become "international" with according rates, they move to RentMen.

I think this varies by city. In Paris, escorts see a much steadier influx of work via Hunqz as it is inexpensive to advertise and PlanetRomeo (owner of Hunqz) is still at the center of the digital hookup culture in Europe.

Speaking personally (per advertising) work is consistent via Hunqz, RentMen is clients from neighboring cities or tourists and there is little consistency in demand. It is more monetary but I’ve noticed the younger guys prefer the consistency of Hunqz. This is much different than the U.S. as Rentmen is pretty much most escorts’ lifeline and is the default, there is not a promising alternative.

Additionally, you can still find a plethora of escorts on Hunqz whose rates are reasonable and holding steady with current market trends in Europe. Always check Hunqz first. You’re welcome.

But per your comment...in cities like London, Barcelona, Madrid I find this to be true as you now have escorts who have dipped their toes in the U.S. market or U.S escorts who have yet to discover XE Currency converter and have not done their “market research,” resulting in unrealistic rates for you.

Clients need to also understand that many Europeans who do advertise on Rentmen also advertise on Hunqz for less, so it's not good to say you saw them on Rentman. My Czech friends who always advertise on Hunqz for $200 advertise on Rentmen and ask $300 from it's customers. That seems pretty standard. Don't mention Rentman and ask or offer in local currency. Their local currency rate is almost always lower.

This statement above in red seems inconsistent. I think your ultimately saying we should pay in local currency for the best rate instead of dollars.

That's what I said. And in countries that don't use the Euro both the dollar and the Euro rates are higher because it's their international rate (traveling). For example, last week I met a Czech who answered 3000 czk when I asked the czk price. 3000-4000 is normal there. That's about $140 to $190. His Euro price was 200, which is $230. That's very standard. When dealing with Euro customers they charge the Euro price in Czech or when in a Euro country. My Czech friends have a $300 US Dollar rate. That's what they ask from Rentmen. But on Hunqz their rate in Prague is 4000 czk and will come down to 3000czk. $190/140. If you offer Czech korunas or ask in it you get the local price.

Also when working Zurich their local price is 150 Swiss franc, about $150. And in Germany only the standard rate is still 70-100 Euro. ($100 to $130). For the same guys whose price from Rentmen is $300. I've never met a guy who uses a calculator to convert prices. They just have local prices in the other currency (except for Germany, where they hate to work). A very few times it's possible to say you only have dollars and get $200 substituted for 200 Euro. But usually they're on to the weakness of the dollar and exchange fees.

I hate the new style Hunqz site, find it so difficult to search, I don't know why Planetromeo changed to this format. The old escort section on PR was easy to use and you could easily search for the type of guy you wanted by looks, body, interests etc

I couldn’t agree more, @irfy. The new site sucks (and not in a good way).

The first month I felt this way but now like it better than the old a lot. The photos are much, much better, the favorites are easier to mark and seem a much higher allowance free. Briwsing other cities sometimes requires changing your location but that's a minor annoyance.
