Cutting the session short and compensation

Recently I had a weird session and I just wanted some input from some of the pros on here.

The date was a three hour engagement and everything was discussed (my preferences and musts) and agreed on ahead of the time. On the day of the session I found out that the guy was going to be doing a 6 hour drive right before our session and booking an Airbnb to host. I wasn't happy but he was already on the way and I felt bad so I didn't break it off then and there. I did bring up that he might be tired from the trip and all that but he said not to worry.

Upon my arrival he was friendly but very much not into me. Not only that he wasn't into making out at all, but he wasn't much into body contact either. He wanted to have a "little" chat and said he was hungry and wanted to eat something first. I told him it was a weird request, but I kind of agreed. I did say that he needs to make it quick and that watching him eat wasn't my fetish at all. He insisted we sit in the dining room opposite of each other. Even my suggestion that he eats his dinner shirtless was met with an eye roll but he did it. So this went on for a while and I tried to initiate something and suggested a few times that we should move the chat and hopefully action to the bedroom. Eventually we did make it to the bedroom where he didn't get any more responsive or interactive but since he drove all day to see me I didn't want to be an asshole to break it off. Well after 5 minutes of foreplay he suggested we jump into the shower. I did and he said he'll join me in a bit but he never does. Then after I'm done showering he says that I'm too "intense" with all the kissing, even though BF experience in his profile, and that he is not feeling it and wants to break it off. I tell him that I appreciate his honesty and if he can't go through with it that's fine. But then he tells me that we've spent an hour together (more like 40 minutes) and that he needs to be compensated for that hour. I wasn't happy.

Now if he had tried and we had been together for an hour I wouldn't have such a problem with this. But he literally was eating up the clock with the promise of better things to come and then he cut it short after 5 minutes of foreplay.

I ended up paying almost the amount he asked but could not help but feel scammed.

So given the situation what would you do? If the chemistry is not there, do you go through the mechanics or do you cut it short right away? If you're the one breaking off an engagement for your own inability to relate to the client do you still ask for compensation?

Honestly I would have left him something, but being asked for compensation really irked me.

I agree with the others, but would also encourage you, @manTOman, to let us know who the provider is. While better communication on both your parts may have mitigated the situation, clearly the "professional" wasn't very professional and sharing the good and bad about providers is the primary point of this forum, so I'd certainly appreciate knowing who the guy is.

Thanks for all the replies. It was a situation unlike anything I have experienced before. As I said even with the lack of chemistry I would have been fine with some naked cuddling and a jo or oral session or anything. But there was a complete lack of effort that caught me off guard. I've been with some great guys and with some that I didn't click with but at least there was some effort from both parties to make it work.

I don't want to bring up his name here but I have addressed the issue in another thread regarding him and I have also submitted a negative review on Rentmen.

I was hoping to hear from some of the professionals that if for whatever reason you cannot hold your end of the bargain and go through the appointment, if you would still charge for your time?

Short answer: no.

Yes, you got scammed! I think you should review him, warn others about him.

Btw you talked to him about the BFE and we all assume that includes a lot of kissing, but did you described yourself to him while setting the appointment? Was it clear that you guys would have a 3 hour all play appointment?

I'm surprised an escort would walk away from a 3 hour date when the client was already there. Maybe he's not cut off for the job.

I did review him on Rentmen so anyone looking at his profile will have the info.

We never talked about it being all play for 3 hours, but I didn't expect it to be all play for that entire time. More like play, cuddle break, pillow talk and repeat. I've done this numerous times and never had a problem. Even he said at one point well we cant go at it for three hours and I said that I wasn't expecting that. I'm average looking but I'm HWP, maybe 10 lbs overweight, and I'm probably on a lower end of the age range to that of an average client. I'm not pissed about it just more puzzled and confused with the entire thing. That's why I started this discussion.

I know compensation is for time spent but if the time spent is completely against client's wishes and the escort breaks off an engagement early are we still accountable for time spent? And again I'm not saying we go through the entire appointment and at the end I say "well that's not what I had in mind". I would never do that. But I allowed him extra time up front knowing that we had plenty of time. If it was only an hour appointment I wouldn't have put up with any of his shenanigans. I didn't think much about it at the time, but afterwards all of his tactics appeared very methodical and calculated. That's when it first crossed my mind that he might be a pro scammer. I always thought of me as a smart guy who would spot this from a mile away. But he was so charming and nice, and very good looking that I kind of let a lot if it slide. Lesson learned.

RM usually removes negative reviews, I hope that's not the case.

I went through hell and back even to get it posted on Rentmen. So far it's there. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

When do they remove them? I heard that they are reluctant to post negative reviews, but never that they actually remove them after they've been posted. I'll keep an eye on it then.

Hi again - It's great that you reviewed him - thank you for doing that. You might consider submitting a review to Daddy's in addition. It seems like negative reviews are less likely to be removed from Daddy's and he also gives the guys a chance to respond to the review, which is fair (and could be telling).

I can't post his name here because then the entire thread becomes a review which is not allowed. However, currently there's a 1 star Rentmen review on his official Rentmen profile, and if one was to search for him in the deli section of the forum they'll find the warnings as well. Hopefully that's enough.

Does his screen name start with a T and end with a color?

No, it is not enough. YOU CAN post his link. People do it all the time,

or just private mesasage me :)

All you have to do to find out is click on @manTOman ’s posting history. He says he posted to that thread, which he did, and he relays this experience. Sure it’s a little extra work, but you can figure it out pretty easy.
