Has anyone else noticed how sweet and charming the current Jeopardy champion is?

They've been pre-empting it a lot here in Detroit for coverage of the North American Auto Show, I've only seen him on one episode.

He is quite cute..apparently a semi-pro soccer player at one point. Definitely would love to see him in some soccer shorts.

He won on January 16, 17, 18 (2019) Will be on again on the 21st. Hope he becomes a 5 time champion! I just find him endearingly sweet and not bad to look at either!

He won his 4th game. When asked if he wanted to "make it a true daily double" he responded that if he did, his husband would kill him.

I was about to write the same thing as N13. So he's taken..... I guess someone else also thought he's cute -- and smart, too!

PS -- It occurred to me that only ten years ago, no contestant on Jeopardy would admit to being gay, much less say that he had a husband. Ten years ago, he and his husband could not have gotten married. To paraphrase Dr. King, the arc of justice bends slowly, but it bends in the right direction.

When Alex questioned him on day 2, he claimed encyclopedic knowledge of the Golden Girls. When Alex asked if he knew about their Jeopardy episode, he admitted to watching it on his flight to LA.

 

We didn’t need the husband reference on day 4,, we knew on day 2!
