I never said there was a “scam” involved. I was only pointing out that he is an extremely poor communicator. This business requires good communication skills, which is something he does not have. On top of that, he is an unknown that wants $350/hour. If he was super good with people reporting back here with rave reviews and no problems responding back, then maybe he could command $350. However, given that I’ve met him, he could use improvements in all areas. The first is common courtesy. The second is to know the job.

I am a little confused - is he an escort or not? I understand his communication skills are poor.

Please tell me you didn't pay him for this...?

We talked and talked and it got late. Since I thought things were clicking, I suggested an overnight the following night, to which he agreed. He then said, you don’t need to pay me tonight then.

The next day, he didnt return texts or a phone call. He just went silent, although he was answering texts from a couple of my friends who I had asked to see if they could illicit a response out of him.

That’s why I wouldn’t trust him to be there for a meeting, to show up on a flight that you bought him, or any other appointment-related issues. He would be the type you hear about on here every so often like,”I bought him a plane ticket to meet me in Miami, but he never got on the plane.”

Not sure what the problem is. Clearly he feels no chemistry with you. It's akin to meeting somebody for coffee to feel them out. He didn't charge you for it so it's hardly worthy of a review.

The overnight was your idea and he was like yeah right whatever. Most of us have been in those situations before. I'm not proud of it but in my past I've given people my number with no intention of ever meeting them again. Thank God none of them had an online forum to bitch about it later on.

A few days later I reached out again and I asked if I did something wrong? He finally reached out and said it was things brought up in our conversation. During our conversation, I was trying to find things to talk about, since he wasn’t making any moves, and so I showed him this thread where it talks about people being put off by his $350 rate. I told him these forums can be an invaluable tool in assisting you in improving your business. I told him I personally know a few well-respected escorts on these sites, and that their rates are typically $250-300, and that they’ve been around for awhile, and still do great business. Since he mentioned he was just starting out in the business and not getting many calls, I told him this could be part of the problem. He also stated he wanted to go into porn so that he could charge higher fees. That statement made me think of porn star Alam Wernik who charges $500 an hour. I told him that just because someone is a porn star doesn’t mean they are worth more. I told him I wouldn’t be interested in paying higher just because of that status, as I had hired a famous icon from Corbin Fisher once that wanted more but definitely wasn’t worth the higher cost. I told him although the CF Star was nice and had the looks, he was very mechanical and not into it.

Max seemed to be listening to what I had to say. It wasn’t bad, but it was there to only help him better his career.

However, he told me he said he was mad that I didn’t like his friend Alam, and that I was showing him what other well-reviewed, long time escorts charge. It wasn’t to bash his business, but an honest man-to-man talk on why he might not get the business he expected, or the repercussions of going into porn and maybe not being able to command a fee of $500.

As for chemistry? I don’t see much chemistry between any man in his 40s and above with another man half his age without the lubrication of Benjamins. Let’s face it. They want money. We want a little something for that money. Maybe I pointed out some truths he didn’t want to hear, but I’m not overweight, not ugly, have all my teeth and appendages, have great hygiene, am extremely nice (too nice sometimes) and far from a Type-A personality. Given that escorts have to “like it all” to be totally successful, I doubt that there isn’t a lot of chemistry that has to be there if money is involved.

Thank you for recounting the experience in such detail. A lot of this seems to boil down to old-fashioned immaturity on his part. A little life experience will do him some good.

No problem. I try to be very detail-oriented. It gets very discouraging to write a very detailed formal review like this about a meeting that took place to let potential clients know what you might be dealing with, but doesn’t get published because it’s considered a “no show”. It makes me not want to waste valuable time anymore on the other site.

He may just not be ready for it. Sounds like the idea was better then the reality. Porn may be the answer since he can bang guys he likes.

I lost my patience in an effort to meet him. Fifty text messages later it never happened despite multiple confirmations and rate acknowledgement from Max.

Doesn’t surprise me. He was like that with me as well. Absolute horrible communication skills.
