Ugh, just bought 2 tix to the Adonis Lounge show in Palm Springs for NYE please help two strip show virgins.

Hi, we just found out about this and bought tickets on the spur of the moment. Is there a beginners guide to these shows? What's allowed, what isn't, what is the proper etiquette during a lap dance...??

Adonis is in a new location in PS now and I've only been to the earlier location......enter and find a seat or sidle up to the bar......if you arrive early, the dancers may not've started yet......find Matt (very nice guy) and say "hi" to him and welcome him back to PS (if he is there that night).......the dancers will rotate thru their stage shows, then will mingle with the customers......if a dancer on stage greatly appeals to you, just walk up to him and tip him a couple singles or a five, tell him he looks great, and ask him to drop by your table after his rotation on stage.....(he may give you a quickie peek).....you'll have to politely fend off others who don't appeal who may approach you at your table and chat, hoping for a table dance or private dance.......say hey and just say you're hanging out for now and don't want a table dance/private at the moment.......but tip guys you like at your table if you want a little table dance action or pony up $20/song if you go for a private dance behind some curtain....the private will probably be "closer" and more grinding-like action than a table dance and you can politely touch if they ok it.....there might be others nearby in the privates area also getting dances.....since this isn't one of the Adonis nude parties, they probably won't get naked, even in the private area, but might give you an accidental peek if you're cool and tip a bit extra......with everybody, just be friendly, very respectful, and don't get grabby (but I know you both are always polite that way....)

 

there might??? be a super special private VIP area (or maybe that's only at the nude parties??) where, for a price (!), the sky is the limit......

 

others may offer more advice or contradict what I've said!.....

 

EDIT: I see this is happening at the Zoso Hotel (formerly Hard Rock), not one of the Arenas Rd clubs where Adonis was before, so I guess it'll be a bit more of a big deal.....I think most of my advice above still holds, but I doubt there will be a "sky's the limit" private VIP cubicle....looks like they'll be having once-monthly shows, also at Zoso, starting in January

Well I hate to disagree with Azdr but I will say that some dancers will go further than others and on a few occasions for the price of a few lap dances I was permitted to fondle and suck and was fondled and sucked in return. Going by the strict rules of the facility, such activity should not be happening, but if not done too obviously, one can get fairly far. If one of the bouncers notices something they will come over and inform you that you have gone too far. Of course, on one occasion in Palm Springs I was escorted out of the back room as was the dancer. At the start of the private dance, I pushed him up again the wall, held his hands over his head and did some grinding. He responded by pushing me down on a chair and grinding quite aggressively and then attempted to pick me up. Since you know my physique, I am sure you figured out that his attempt at the lift was not totally successful and we crashed down onto the chair, breaking the chair. That is when we were advised to leave. So you do not have to be as polite as Azdr suggests, but there are limits, in this case I believe the limit was 275 pounds.

By the way, I usually tell the guys with whom I am not interested in having a private, that I am an Uber driver and I am just waiting for a client. Apparently Uber drivers are not the preferred client of many of the strippers and they just move along.
