Scrubs has been flying under the radar for about 5 years on NBC and recently went into syndication. It seems like it is on 4 times a day but since I missed many of the episodes I see very few repeats. They are funny with well considered writing and very capably acted. If you have not been tuning in, you should catch it. And Rick Monroe, the first season is now out on DVD. Turk and JD certainly have straight guylove, not that there is anything wrong with that.

Under the raidar is a good description. Somehow I managed to catch a lot of them the first time around and enjoyed them.

With the new Thursday lineup on NBC, though, I doubt I'll see a lot of them. As soon as I even hear "The Office" or "My Name is Earl" I reach for the remote and change the channel. There's some visceral reaction like fingernails on the chalkboard with those two shows. I cannot watch them.

On the up side, it means I've been catching "Ugly Betty" (only because it's on the next English-language channel in that direction) which I find quite cute.

I thought that I was the only one! Those two shows get rave reviews, and I have yet been able to sit through an enitre episode of either one of them. NBC might just as well put on Opera as far as I'm concerned. Although Opera would be better. Maybe its a generational thing.

I am a long time fan of Scrubs, and I don't understand why it isn't more popular. It is the most intellignet comedy on TV. Ooops, I may have answered my own question.

I still chuckle at the Frasier reruns even though I have seen them many times. There is not much intelligent writing on today's sitcoms. (Maybe 30 Rock)

For what it's worth - my fav sit-com is still Two & 1/2 Men.

I still can't believe that the Christian Reich have not tried to shut the show down, what with it's suggestive language and outright bawdy humour,

Guess they are too busy at boycotting Ford & WalMart.
