Which physician profile fits you best, and how do pharma reps use that to make you prescribe their products? This is from a rep who worked for Eli Lilly.

If the text is too small, see the tables up close here: https://journals.plos.org/plosmedicine/article?id=10.1371/journal.pmed.0040150 and click on the figures.

I used to work with Drug Reps on a daily basis, and this article is quite illuminating. And I have no doubt that it used by many Reps. Not to stereotype, but almost every one of the Reps that I came across (both male and female) was good-looking and had an ebullient personality. They would always remember family member names, treat the staff like they were all his/her buddies, and were keen observers of happenings (and gossip) around the clinic, especially info concerning the prescribers. Your link did not work for me - but maybe this one will (it also includes a link to the original article). I have several relatives who are M.D.'s and I am going to forward this article to them. Thanks for the info.
